But my question for you cali people is if you have HIDs what k do you run and have you ever been pulled over for them?

Personally I want the 8k but iffy if there is higher chance of getting pulled over for em. (I know regardless that it will attract some attention but want to hear other peoples experiences with HIDs)

i have 8k on mine and i love it! the 6k is ok but it looks like everyone else hid kit! the 8k is perfect especially with our headlights!

I am running 10k and they look fine I would be surprised if I ever got pulled over for them.

 

I have 8K for headlights and 14k for fogs. They both look great and I haven't had any probs with cops.

 

Hey Pat do you happen to have a picture of your headlights and fog lights on?

 

i say run 6k, just white with a very very very very slight hint of blue. 8k and up is just asking to get pulled over. all it takes is that one cop to pull you over and started messing with you and you get a ticket.... so yeah 6k if no 5k to just be on the oem side of things

 

running 6k in both my heads and fogs, havent been messed with *knock on wood* plenty bright enough for me, everyone thinks i have my highs on and flashes theres at me rofl.

 

I am running 5K and I love it. Anything past 5K and you are going to be getting less than OEM output for light, which means it can be harder to see at night.

 

 

The xb fog lights have the different color so really keeps the purple color down...

Most honda guys with the glass housing run 8k because the glass knocks down the blue alot... for plastic housing 6k is the only way to go.

well, look at it this way . . . more color = less light. . . . less color = more light.

I have 8K and will be going back to 6K. Never got pulled for em' but I'd rather see than anything else right now.

 

^Same here. Never got pulled over when I had my MobileHID 6000k. I than got 8000k for about 3 months and went back to 6000k 2 days ago.

 

Just went up to $25 in april. Used to be $10
