Well....I got a dumb tint ticket....its only a fix it one....does anyone know any cops that will sign it off for me!

a fix it ticket? what do they want you to do rip off the tints? that's silly.. if i get pulled over from my tints, i'm explaining that i bought my car in nj which these tints are legal in.. which i did.... but i see that you're in cali... and stating it was bought in nj would just seem ridiculous... hmm

i ALMOST got pulled for mine! One night I was bringing my lady back to her apartment and driving my car in neutral down a hill. Right when I came to the stop sign there was the cops sitting on the side with their parking lights on. Soon as I passed the cop . . . he turned on his spot light and started looking at my car from where he was . . . I was like OH ____ . . . don't pull me over man . . . I got 35% in the front and 5% in the rear so sometimes its hard to see me. Was that scary! hahahaha just don't want a ticket

 

that's part of living in california. just take it off and put a lighter shade. the tc is one of the most ticketed cars, so its going to get attention. when i would get pulled over and i had windows tinted in so cal i would roll all my windows down.

 

that sucks! that why i didnt wanna tint my windows this car around

 

That is right, they have you take it off. Without the referee stations now , you go to court, tell the Judge your story, show him you took it off , pay fine.

Now , here where I live , the judges don't have enough time to go look at your car sitting in the parking lot so alot of people just tell the judge they took it off .

But the second time you get caught , they tow your car for 30 days ( at your expense) have you remove the tint ( one nice popo actually will help with a small x cut across the window tint) and go to court , again but the fine triples, plus 30 day storage runs about $60 a day.

Good luck with it. I would remove it, go to court, pay fine, and then head to my nearest tint shop and have a lighter tint put on.

I have had two fix it tickets for my tint, I just paid the fine and left it on
