lets have a cruise...
i always hear of other car communities doing these cruises. why not we do one? i was thinking somthing like going up hwy 9 to santa cruz or maybe up mt. hamilton. or maybe the drive from caleveras to sunol...i dont know. discuss. it will obviously be somthing during the summer. im leaning towards taking 9 to the beach since nothing beats the beach on a hot summer day.
Calaveras? Are you kidding me?! My friend tricked me into going that path towards Milpitas from Niles Canyon, even though no one was on it I still drove 35 mph haha, shyts scary dude like no joke and I drive highway 17 daily haha. It took me 20 minutes to get through that whole thing, but at parts it was fun haha.

"""heheh... Mt. Hamilton makes Calaveras look like an oval go-kart track..."""
Dude I was driving Mt Hamilton before you were born...... Calavares is mostly one lane no markings and can very scarey at night give it a try My Hamilton is mostly 2 lanes and higher speeds you can take all the way to Livermore it is fun too I used hang the 10 mph hair pin to the left at 35mph in my 240Z got chased by a Sherrif and lost him up there thats how I found out it goes to Livermore
Yeah it is fun BUT Calavares is more of a challenge even more in the dark

i've driven Calaveras in the evening a few times.. i would probably say it's a bit more fun cause of the uhhm.. less windy roads unlike mt. ham
though yah.. lol.. i can't deny that both roads are quite scary.. but the road conditions that mt. ham has.. along with certain parts of it being a bit narrow (unless you cross over into the other oncoming lane (which needs to be done sometimes)) makes it a bit more scarier imo.
Calaveras takes my vote for fun factor though... evening runs are nice with a caravan as well.
