Default my accident to Vegas in bakersfield

march23 on highway 58
got rear-ended twice what a awesome way to start my weekend/springbreak
and no i did not have fun in vegas

the other cars...atleast mine wasn't las bad as there's

the other 2 drivers didn't even appologized n just ignored me when i asked if they were ok.
there were 4 other people in my car with me n everyone is having some type of pain... I jus want my car back. I have to drive back down to Bakersfield to pick it up cuz insurance won't tow it up and the other people won't pay for it. yeah for me....

That really sucks, sorry to hear that. It could have been worse right? Hopefully you can get this resolved pretty quick.

insurance wont tow because its still driveable. I got hit in the quarter panel from a hit and run and some one hit me on the passenger side while i was pulling into a driveway...so i have to horrible looking eye sores for people to stare and point while i drive to school until summer when i can deal without a car....so i feel your pain

was it her fault?

if it isn't her fault, then somebody else's insurance should have to pay to have it towed back to her. they have to do everything to make her whole again.

and also, it's not drivable, your entire tail light assemblyis gone, so your missing a tail/turn and brake light. i'd tell my insurance company to tow it unless they want to agree to pay for all the potential tickets i could rack up driving it back home.

Sorry to hear. At least you and your passengers are ok. Hopefully you can get everything resolved soon. I went to Vegas this past weekend as well. I left on the 22nd and I didn't have fun either.

my insurance said they won't pay for the towing cuz its too expensive. its about $1300 to tow back up here. SO instead it was towed to a shop and they're going to fix it down in socal so i won't be able to see if they missed anything n if the bodykit is ok or wat not. they told me my front lip is messed up b/c of the towing n they're gonna fix it.. but how do u fix carbon fiber?? they wont get me a new lip... farmers sucks man

so i wont see my car until its done. i do hope the shop does a good job ...

That sucks. Sorry to hear this Karen. Accidents really do stink.

Glad to hear you're okay. Hope you and your friends are doing alright. Sucks that you had to tow it to SoCal to get it fixed. Hopefully the car will be fixed correctly. Good luck with everything girly.

awh thanks u guys for all ur concerns n words

i couldn't drive it cuz there's the rubber piece that's pushed against the tire and at the time everything was so hectic so i didnt know if the tire was ok to drive on. the decisions were kinda just made for me. the ambulence was there to take one of the drivers away... one of my passengers was throwing up cuz she was in alot of pain, the fire department was takin everything out of my car n the CHP was askin me so many questions. at the same time i was on the phone with the insurance co. n i was still shackin so i barely even had time to let things sink in. i kinda just did wat everyone as tellin me to do. so the next thing i knew, i was at the fire department and i had left so many things in my car with the windows down. n i had the keys. n i was worryin about my lip cuz the towing co. isn't going to care to be careful with it. Also, it started raining the next couple days so my interior is messed up now too. just awesome huh?

Sorry to hear!! Glad everyone was able to come out O.K. Things like this suck, but as long as you and your friends came out of this O.K, that's all that really matters! Car's can be repaired to be made like new, you and your friends can't be! Good luck on the repairs and relax for a little while and rest your body!!

damn thats no good
i dunno what i would do if that wa my tc
are they at least paying for a rental and your gas to drive back to bakersfield?
also im pretty sure since wasnt your fault that you have the right to have your car brought to you and fixed at the body shop you want
it shouldnt even cost your insurance company anything
it should all be on the person whos at fault's insurance
your company is just supposed to talk to their insurance and handle everything for you
ild talk to an insurance lawyer just to see what they say

Wow, girl! Glad you're ok!! I completely understand about being rear-ended. Just take care of yourself and make sure you get checked out for any injuries. I hope you get your stuff taken care of soon!

Take care!
