I'm planning to order the ccfl angel eye rings for $30 but I don't trust myself with the DIY guide, I was wondering if anyone has ever done it before and is willing to do it for some cash!!! I would prefer to use your oven cause I think my mom would kill me, so if anyone is up for it, throw a price at me and i'll PM you, I live in Fremont, but willing to drive some distance.

 

my oven isn't really available for use.. but as far as wiring crap up.. i can do that... baking it open? ehh... i'm a bit iffy..

 

Is there any other method than that one?

 

other method than baking it? not really... unless you want to sit there with a heat gun?? o_O

 

sup trung. i don't think a heat gun is a good idea. oven will distribute heat better. i tried a heat gun on my civic headlights before and ended up melting a portion of it.

If you don't want to mess up your HL buy another set and try doing those 1st. You might be able to find a used set for $150 or so. I was lucky and found a brand-new set already baked open! Now my dilemma is whether to use the rage halos I already have or get a set of CCFL halos from Phil.
