Default Need someone to RACE!!

It's not what you think! I am in the bay area and like to race RC cars, but i don't know anyone around here that races/runs them.

Is there anyone out there that has RC cars that would maybe want to meet up somewhere on a weekly basis and run/race their cars against mine? Prefereably pavement, but dirt is ok too!

It could be fun!

I race RC cars at Nor-Cal Hobbies. You should stop by there it's at 30600 Union City Blvd. in Union City Tel.# (510)324-5700. They have one of the best track in the US. By the way what kit do you have? I drive a yokomo BD..

I have a 1/10th Nitro TC3 fully modded. Cost me $1300 and I went all out cramming a 18TZ turbo engine. Im about 95% done with the build then id love to meet up with people to drive cars. In fact il pay someone money to cut post holes for my bodies, because ive destroyed 2 attempting myself.

We really need to find a centrally located spot with a BIG parking lot and meet up! This could turn out to be a weekly deal and a LOT of fun!

Let's get our heads together and do something!!!

Can anyone name the local bay area tracks and what type of classes that race there? Im about to get my 2nd set-up, and unlike my 1st, i want it race legal. I was thinking of the RC10GT2 RS kit, or the factory team RC10GT2. Any reccomendations?

I'll see what I can find out as far as tracks. I don't know about the rules though.
