new xB2 owner in the bay!
sup guys, just like the header says.. new xB2 owner in the bay! i used to own a turbo'd Toyota Matrix, but RIP to my first baby.. scions must have a bigger followin than the matrix, so theres gotta be a ton more meets around the bay. can someone point me into the right direction? lol..

Let's see -
Every other Wed - Brook's (bonbon) has a meet at the Wingstop in San Jose off Coleman Avenue - usually 6:30 PM until around 10 PM
Every Thursday - Scikotics has a meet at Spinocelli's Pizza up in Concord 8PM - whenever
Every Friday -
the un-affiliated and random folks meet at Steven's Creek Scion's Service building to bother the service manager there until he closes. People are usually there from about 5 or 6 PM to 8 or 9 PM. Trung (squalllheart) is usually there all day Friday because he has no job.
the Scion owners in San Francisco meet at the 24-hours Starbucks in Daly City (south of Serramonte Mall) at around 10 PM to whenever.

etli.. i notice alot of those meets are in the 408 region. im actually from hayward, but i do work in san francisco during the weekdays. any east bay meets i should know about? also.. scikotiks.. what is that? is it a nationwide scion group or something?
evildave.. i was on the "bay area matrix" page a long time ago. i was one of the original members of MatrixOwners.com back in 2002, right when the matrix first came out. my handle on that website was "forcefedmatrix," which i took because i was the 1st turbo matrix in the bay area. also, i notice that link for the sept 9th event.. where is it?

In the East Bay, the "main" meet is probably the one at Concord every Thursday. Although that's kind of "Northeast Bay".
About once a month (but sometimes more often), ChefBAM (big asian man) has a meet at his place in Hayward. There's apprantly one going on Sept 9th at Bam's Little Ghetto(BLG). We call Bam's place a ghetto because he lives in the middle of an industrial warehouse area in Hayward, near train tracks, and right in the flight path to Oakland airport. However, there's lots of parking on the weekends.
If you're further south, the Scinergy guys (Trung, Alan, and Leo) ususally have stuff during the week in or around Fremont.
The scion folks are actually pretty damn spread out over the bay area so it's not like there are 20 people who want to form a club in ONLY one city.
If you'd like people to come to you, just set up a meet for a time and place that's convenient for you. The people who can make it will try to make it. I would suggest some place near food. People (I) enjoy eating. Although to start out, you should probably come out to a couple meets to get an idea of who's who. Who knows?
