ok so help once again
You might want to rethink the drilled and slotted part. Just get slotted. Your brake pads will thank you for it.
And your rotors will last a hell of a lot longer if they are just slotted as well. Just thought I'd throw that in there.

I personally just like slotted, no drilled for me. I'll be ordering my BBK soon from Stoptech.
Black rotors look nice on their own, but on a car, might throw things off a bit. I'm sure you already know that drilled rotors weaken the rotor overall, but I also think they look kinda ____. Now slotted on the other hand is hot. What kinda calipers and pads will you be getting with the kit or are you keepin the stocks?
Mike -- it won't rub off. The metal is actually black.

ah, i thought it was a plating which would wear off with the rotors. and if drilled are so weak why does brembo and porsche use drilled only? just asking. does it dissipate heat quicker? i have red calipers
yes, dissipate heat. heat causes the brakes to warp, but what's ironic is that rapid heating and cooling also warps the brakes.
brembos and porsche's (silicon carbine composite) brakes are obviouslty different. in the case of darren, we all know he's getting them from ebay so quality will be nowhere near brembo or porsches, which is why i said slotted.

i'd get the slotted. not only do they look sweet, but you can also hide stuff from the police in the holes if you're shady like that. that's why jeremy wants hollow-spoke rims
itzjere hit the nail on the head. And don't worry about what Brembo and Porsche do. Those companies that use that stuff on performance cars have the money to replace their rotors WAY more often then we do. Also, 95% of real race cars that I've been around have run slotted only. And for those of you who know me, you know that I'm new noob in the world of racing. Slotted rotors will crack prematurely and they will not hold up like a slotted rotor will. But if you have your heart set on the drilled and slotted then have at it. With no more abuse then they'll be getting on the toaster I'm sure they'll be ok.

and Zach, just to clarify, if I have a street car like a 996 turbo or another supercar with drilled rotors, i'd replace them more often? (not that i couldn't afford them)

Mike, another thing that will need constant replacement is also the pads because there is a lot more friction with the groves in the rotor but at the same time, decrease stopping distance -- hence the upgrade! Of course, proper brake upgrades will include new pads as well that can withstand more stress
