I'm willing to put in into one club for all to join. NO HEADS, ONE CLUB!! Maybe a name that represents NorCal as whole!! NORCAL SCIONS!!(just an idea) The question is, can everyone else drop there titles and merge as ONE??!! Whatever beef or drama from the past let it go. This idea was started in another forum, sorry Scion Miltia, but raises a question, is this what we all wanted all along? Absolutely YES!! I would love to roll into an event 100-200 peeps deep. (Parking would be a B#@&H, but I would love every minute of it!!


Only thing is that we all have to agree upon it. No doubts, just 110% support by all. I'm always 110% down for this, how about everyone else??!! Remember we all love our clubs and love hanging out with family and friends, but remember this is a hobby, it doesn't pay our bills. If everybody else could let all the drama and beef behind and I do mean ALL, we would be the ultimate Scion Scene!!

 

great idea! eventhough i am not a part of any formal clubs, i still see myself as a norcal scion owner...its just a way of repping norcal and being a scion owner. i think as long as there will be people there will be conflicts between them. im not putting anyone down but just saying...

 

Since I kind of brought it up, I am down... But theres so many people that hold grudges on ____ it seems. Id do it... But I don't think it will ever happen.

On that note, if we cant do the one club why cant we come together and grow as a whole but still be our other clubs. This competition and problems with one another is BS. Theirs lack of support all over.

 

Here is my opinion. It would be awesome to come together! As one scion owners club/group, or whatever you may call it. But in reality it wont happen. There has been so much drama this drama that. Some can forgive and forget some cant. Thats just the way it is. We shouldn't think any less or more of either side of forgiving or forgetting.

Staying with your current club is all good.

In my Opinion Competition isn't BS Keith. I will be straight up. I built my car to how i wanted it. Yes it is a hobby but I am pretty serious about Competition with the car. I love to hang out with friends i have met through owning a Scion, showing it, Compete with it, drive it, and feeling good when i have accomplished something with my Scion. Just like my Bowling, yes it s a hobby, but i am a fierce competitor.

 

And Chris you know I am the same way. But the competition part has caused so much drama in the scene up here, and so cal. Theirs a line between being competitve and just plain being a ___. I know you know what I mean. And just to clarify thats not directed towards you.

One thing ive noticed lately is we are doing tons of meets... Thats awesome! spread the news but do we need meets on the same day within 15 mins of each other? We are not supporting each other or coming together as a group anymore. People have problems with people ok we know. But if we cant solve them or move past them and just be cival how are we going to get bigger as a scion scene?

 

On the drama that being competitive has caused i understand that some shows will have it and some wont. last year when i did 10+ HIN shows i only won once. This year i did about 4 shows again only won once. I didn't car what i heard from other people.
I still went!
Its being competitive and being at these shows that was fun! This years HIN at Pleasanton for example. How many different clubs where there? From what i can see there wasn't any drama! also here is something from our site!

first off having too many meets isn't bad. It would cater to who is near that meet at that particular day or time. But my suggestion would to the clubs would be to coordinate the meets TOGETHER! Also NON SCION owners shouldn't be posting meets. I have seen this create issues already..... And common guys and gals if you do want a meet then that's fine but don't all immature cause no one shows up or there is overlapping meets.

lets just have our clubs. but still show how Scions do it. If you have disagreements with someone don't park near them. But represent Scion how they want the brand to be represented.

I've stayed quiet, but it seems that your complaining about meets that I planned before I started SrU. I'm sorry if you feel that I have to ask you or plan around your meet. You said peeps had to grow up and plan meets when it's convient for you. I planned this meet for about a year. Ask around. Also I have never seen you at any daly city, san jose, or any other meets. So as for you who don't want to start any so called drama, has started something. Also if you say we have to come together and support each other meets, I have yet seen you at any other meets besides your own. So please clarify what you mean by support other meets and if you target someone, maybe call them and try working something out before putting information on the open boards.

 

This is exactly why we can't have one club... you are all just proving this will not work.

 

There is no reason why different clubs can't get along. PERIOD. If you all turn into one club, I think that would ruin the friendly competition Chris is talking about. SA and AS have a great relationship but it's soo much fun to compete against them while hanging out at trash talking. lol leave it as is.

 

The one club can't work if we are going to force everyone to just swallow their pride and get along with everyone. I have learned that there are just some people that don't get along and thats just how it is. You can be civil like what Keith said, but thats probably all you are going to get. This is truly a great idea and once upon a time I was ready and wiling to do this, but since then there have been too many things that have just made it impossible to happen. I wish things were different.

I personally hate all of you in Nor Cal. J/K. dont kill the skinny Filipino. Bamm, I know where your heart is on this because at 1 point I wanted this to happen in the past with So Cal and Nor Cal. Those that have been around longer than 3 years know what I mean. When I first got into this Scion scene in early 05, everyone was together. I MEAN EVERYONE! No beefs, gripes, etc. But over time it came to the point of choosing sides. In my personal opinion, I think as a community gesture, you can start a Nor Cal Scions involving all the clubs, but based as the area of Nor Cal. If I can only be in all your clubs I would. I respect everyone in the scene and I try to shake hands with each and everyone of you that I've met and try to get to know.

All the clubs are awesome and highly respected, but everyone needs to *get along. We are one of the smallest of the tuner groups out there, so dont make it any smaller than what it already is.

 

From watching from the sidelines. I always see some kind of drama going on. I think it's a great idea, but sadly it won't work. There's just way too many people and issues with logistics.

 

Think you should take your own advice in the last line...

If you took that to heart well so be it.. But your not the only person doing meets at the same time... as others. I was making a statement... If it was pointed to just you.. I would of pointed it to just you.

I have come out in the past, I dont come out as much as I use to. Why because it does not fit my schedule... Sorry I get up at 6am on a regualr basis and once a month get up even earlier. I try to make it out when I can. But I do not go to meets of people that have a problem with me. If you want me to go into more detail call me like you told Gabe you were going to do.

Ill leave this alone... Obviously people just cant work together and talk about anything always has to be taken to the worst possible level.

 

I appreciate everybody's input. Whether good, bad, or ugly, all opinions are appreciated.

 

Hopefully one day we can all eventually come together. Till that time comes, I wish each and every car club best wishes to all.

 

Im not posting on here to cause problems or create more drama.. im just posting my opinions and thoughts guys.

 

I thiink the one club is not the greatest idea but it's also not the worste idea...has anyone stopped to look at where we are all posting this? This sight IS were everyone from all the clubs post...so why not just start a club that incorporates everyone just like this sight does? I mean Scion Life isn't one of the sites that requires you to only be a member of Scion Life...it's just a message forum for everyone in all the clubs to come and give input and meet new people. Plus this forum has all kinds of drama pop up. people either give their two cents or leave it alone. why not make a club that incorporates everyone who wants to keep their membership with their current club but also have the title of a Nor-Cal club? It shouldn't matter what club you belong to as long as we come together as friends. I know i haven't been in this scene for long but people need to stop holding grudges.

We No*Cal we have some of the dopest whips out there. doesn't matter what team you in or not at the end of the day we all rep no*cal to the fullest and we can all be one huge family.

There's nothing wrong with a little competition within a group. It's just that if we're going to make a Scion only group (Scikotics, AS, SrU just to name a few), we might as well join forces and rep it big. We have one thing in common, our cars. That alone brought us into this community.

We can have our Scion group we want and all that. But I think since nobody wants to step aside from their big egos, can't we just add Nor*Cal Scions on our rides so we all know we have at least that one thing in common?

 

I completey agree with this...there is no real reason why we couldn't do this.
