I just read it and I'm signing it. This sucks, how could people look at all the testimonies and just go by "well the defendant was frustrated" I'd be frustrated too if I got falsely accused of something like that! If I got falsely accused of anything and I'd be ____ed, but especially something that serious is not something to be joking around about. And I don't know how on earth someone of any age, especially a little girl, could actually learn a skill like playing the piano while at the same time she was being traumatized with every lesson. It sound like crap to me.
When I signed I also used up 495 characters worth of the comment area and could have kept on going. Sounds like some little girl or maybe her parents are just upset about something and don't give a damn about who gets in the way.

I do not disagree that it should be looked into at all just pointing out that it was written by the guys daughter...there has been plenty of people put away for bogus charges and alot of people would listen to an angry child before anyone else.
I agree with you. But I also agree with her offered opinion of what's happened. She's asking for a fair shake for her dad. She's giving us limited information that more than likey only shines a light on what she would like to be seen. She spins a tale that tugs at heart strings, and she pleads for a little understanding and fair play. We normally do not get fair play in this chaos we call our lives. But if she's taken the time to spin the tale, I'll listen. If she's taken the effort to ask for help, I'll give my electronic signature. But I don't think I'd be alone in the sentiment that if she began to ask for physical volunteers, or cash donations, she'd be entirely alone in this fight. Partly for the fact that I don't know all the details. Partly for the fact that "it doesn't affect me" syndrom resides in me at this moment. But most of, and I mean most of all, she would have to do special favors to part me from ANY of my money. (and that would constitute prostitution, which is illegal.)
hey yo kris, I dun think u would be reading this topic... but what the heck....
the reason I signed cuz I believed that this man's rights had been violated... not whether he is guilty or not.... and I also not believeing the fact that the daughter of the defendent wouldn't lie just to get us sign this petition; it doesn't do her any good if her dad gets a second trial

what's up s2k driver! (nice freakin car brother!!)
look, simply put, I'm an optimist. If this petition were truely effective, and the man was truely innocent, then I've done my bit towards karma to helping out someone in a really messed up situation. (to say the least)
If you want to argue semantics, do you really think a cyber petition is going to matter much in the greater scheme of life? (We as a country, after all, are 3 or 4 trillion ba-jillion in debt) AND, if you DO believe with all your heart that this will get him a retrial, or appeal, then I have an email to forward to you. Add your name to the bottom and Bill Gates will send you a check for $1 for every name on the e-mail.
All things considered, maybe this is a true situation. Maybe, just maybe, the woman writing this grew up as "daddy's little girl" and now she has to go through hell because of some lying little _____. So the writer starts an on-line petion. She writes what she wants to writes and offers it out to the public. We feel for the story she has told us, and we electronically sign our support. And in the end, maybe it does nothing more than comfort a single person in their moment of need and weakness. When the person she looked up to as her hero as she was growing, in her eyes, is being put unfairly on trial.
Here anonymous woman: I am a stranger that offers you compassion, and a little bit of support when you ask for it. And I ask nothing in return, because it costs me nothing. Good luck.

and why shouldn't he? Guilty or not... this poor guy didn't get a fair trial in the first place..... regardless..... if hes guilty, so be it.... a retrial earn him a ticket back to jail
