powdercoat rims
I'm deciding between getting new rims or getting mine powdercoated black. I dont think i would DIY these cause that would take to much time and precision that I don't have, does anybody know where i can get these done for especially around the bay area? I remember a guy on here doing 100 bux a wheel but I can't find the post. THanks
give dave gille a call, he knows a good place, he works at the stevens creek scion dealership, parts department. give him a call or swing by... i wanted to do it... i think it was 500 for all.
i will post the info here on monday morning if anyone else wants wheels or other parts painted you can go directly to the place....i dont not get anything out of this just doing this for the biz cuase they allways help me out..
sorry was very biz at work new prototype had to be sent out i will talk to the owner of the shop asap and let her know what im doing so she knows whats going on ....sorry agaon very biz for the end of the month ....
yeah, that is a possibility, but i really like the solid look of pure black stock rims for only around 2-300 bux. I wanted to get some drag DR-11 but that's like 5-600 bux and if I'm going to spend the money I would go with 18's which is another about 200 so I thought this would be the cheaper alternative. I'm now thinking about DIY with the Duplicolor paint....
I recommend getting some new hot rims. The stock ones are nice as they are.... some reason I think that total black rims look like they are steelies if it doesn't have a chrome lip.
sorry so late heres the info:::::
