Project Ride looking to Sponsor Teams
If your team is interested in a sponsorship, pm me.
To tell you a little about Project Ride we are a non-profit organization, here to help out our community by keeping the import scene from tobacco industry infiltration. Our main goals can be broken down into a few key ideas:
* Create a positive image of the import scene. Just because we tune our cars does not mean we are street racers, thugs, or criminals. This negative connotation can only be fought by positive energies which we bring to the scene.
* We are against large tobacco corporations from creating a target market out of our scene. What this means is that we are fighting to keep tobacco corporations out of our shows, our races, and our local meetings.
* We feel that it is important to educate the young men and women who are part of our scene that we have the power to be a positive force in the community. Education becomes a major cornerstone in our organization. Sponsored teams attend shows, outreach to the public, and go to schools to educate students.
We will have a booth at both the HIN and DUB event this weekend 9/23 and 9/24, if you and your team is interested in being sponsored or have any questions ask anyone at the booth.
Also visit www.projectride.net and www.myspace.com/projectride to learn a bit about Project Ride.
Check out our PSA, its only 30 secs lol

I REALLY Like the concept... as I've never touched a drug in my life, including nicotine, and would HATE to see the import world innundated with it...
PM sent and let me look into it.

yawaben, yea cars do kill more, but project ride's making car shows a safer place for families to attend, getting rid of the influences of tabacco companies around car shows.

Thanks... Wish you could have something for HIN seattle... I love the concept and hate the Image of the F&F movies, and MTV image of what tuners are...
Some of us know respect, build great cars, live clean, and help out kids and communities as well... (Have worked with youth for the last 8 years)... Wish that aspect would build, as I love the shows, but wish they could build out of the pure wet-t-shirt, thug life, street racing glorification fests... I love the hot rod shows for the different aspects, as kids have a place there... unlike 90 percent of import shows...
Good organization, and long needed...

I really hope a crew picks them up, as the idea is just solid, and now, we're starting to see low and cheezy moves by the tobacco industry to pull in tuners...
