San Jose Wednesday night meets!
Wow, it's cool to see a few more people have found out about this meet! Maybe soon I'm gonna have to get some nametags...or we'll just do the AA circle again. lol
What do you guys feel up for the next meet March 5th? I wouldn't mind taking over Red Brick Pizza again, it's always cool when we can get a booth with our own T.V.

Red Brick pizza is not bad but kind of pricey for what you get. I like Stuft Pizza better. They aren't messing around when it come to pizza size. I think some people dislike it because the crust is pretty thick (it's not greasy like pan pizza though)
Although red brick does have some nice gelato at their stores and of course, tv w/ tivo at the booths.

Pizz'a Chicago is pretty good, but the downside is that they don't have TV.

Yeah it's more the place rather than the food. Although I don't dislike their pizza, otherwise I wouldn't care about the tv's at all. lol El Pollo Loco is open now too, never eaten at one of those, I know it's fast food but it's not like eating wings is any healthier, for those who are watching their diet... if there are any of you out there. lol
Another downside about Pizza chicago: they're in downtown, and in general, downtown is not a nice place for our cars. If they opened up the tops of some of the parking garages, I'd think about holding/moving this meet somewhere there. Since a lot of people don't like to park on the top of a garage because they don't wanna walk. Makes it a good place for a bunch of Scion owners get together around their cars though.
Maybe in the future huh?

Well i have some bad news....it seems that this past wednesday was my last meet till after i get back from SD. I'll be down there for four weeks. Then back for 2 weeks, then gone for 6 months. It's a shame that i don't get to go next week. I hope everyone takes care. I'll be on the website here and there to keep in touch. See everyone when i get back.

She likes mango flavored cake? Well, I can do my usual and try to pick up something from a Chinese bakery. Only problem will be timing. Actually, Trung, why don't you get something and I'll chip in a 10.

yea.. an asian bakery seems like will be the only place we'll be able to find one...
if not.. coconut cake would be the 2nd option.. which for the most part.. the bakery would still apply
uhh you know any good places to pick one up Ed? otherwise looks like i might have to head towards my home and look in our asian plaza here on tully and king (Lion plaza)
gotta look around..

(yea, yea... lol... it's no surprise... i asked her if she wanted cake and what kind... etc.. etc..... but uhh.. ehh.. whatever... though cake is a bit overrated and played out.. uhm... i want some!
I have a brochure for "Red Ribbon BakeShop" and they have Mango cake. There's two locations in San Jose, 3065 McKee Road, 408 342-8296 and the other's on Tully 2066 Tully Rd. 408 532-1076. Also Union city, & Daly CIty, if you're currently further up one side of the bay or the other.
L.A. Times rated "Red Ribbon's Mango cake as the 'Best Of L.A.'"
