Default Satellite install question

I am very sick and tired of bay area radio and I going to purchase the XM satellite box through TRD Sparks Reno. My question to you all is this, I really don't want to get raked over the coals by any dealership for installation cost do you guys have any recommendations on a good installer that is also affordable?

Thanks for the suggestions in advance

I can't compare to XM, but I give Sirius 2 big thumbs up too!

I would check out Circuit City or Fry's for installation, definitely not the dealer. If you get one of the Plug and Play type units, you can easily do it yourself. I've got an S50 and it was easy to put in and so much fun to have.

there will be poeple from each side telling you that one is better than the other but remember this...BOTH are a million times better than Bay Area fm stations!!

If you can get a deal on XM get it, try it, if you don't like it sell it and go with Sirius. I have XM and have had no complaints with it...other than the fact that Stern is on Sirius.

As for the installation, it's pretty simple. The unit just plugs into the back of the stock deck. Mine took me a little over an hour to get done...while watching Basketball in the garage!
