The only thing i heard from someone else was that 8,000 people, not cars, showed up. I dont know if thats for sure but thats what i heard. I totally missed the awards because i was in the shark exhibit....DANG!!! so yeah, im curious on who won what too.

This year many of the community requested that there was no competition, but just the opportunity to feature cars in the event... so we all won, as we took our time and money to bring nice cars out to support scion and show others what can be done.... We got nifty backpacks, a beany, sandals, t-shirt, and dub city for our participation, and an absolute lack of any show/judging drama!

Last thing I heard from a corporate rep was 1260 Scions in the lot... which is 50 Percent Increase over last year in Scions alone...

Good time, and good growth.

Showing off the rides was actually better. I just wish we were given more room.

^ Agreed. but even being able to feature for free, and free vendor locations... that's pretty dang generous...

And loved the unity this year... no comparing cars, or trying to see who's got the advantage or such.

They put them away soon after I got there.... They didn't want them to get stressed out.... (The penguins were argueing over whether the vertical doors were rice or not) even THEY do it

After Penquino started slapping around Penquinita, they thought putting in the back would be the best idea! LoL....

I also think its nicer that no one was judged and it was all about just hanging out. But i think that last year's set up and location was much better. there was a lot more room and more light.
But wow, 1260 scions is a major improvement! thats good that more people are getting into the scene. I wish i could have entered my car into the park but i had school and didnt even get out until 3:30, which means i didnt get to the park till about 7! bummer!

^ Agreed on location... but... they did take care of us all well... lest we forget... it's a killer deal and a lot of freebies... what other auto company would do that?

There were two camera crews there... That specific one was with Scion Marketing directly, as they had me sign a release and such and it said it on there... (They cover everything)

I'm not sure who the other guy was... possibly a local Scion Hired Videographer???

hmm... your panic button doesn't seem to help if a "few" other people happen to press it at the same time either...

hmm.. my car was fine to find... that and my horn's a little different anyway.. but i didn't use it.
