i just looked up the hulk car. i lolz'd cuz not a single part on it is related to the bosozoku styling yet mr know it all here called it that

 

drop it guys.. to each his own. that guy doesnt like boxes and you gotta admit james that boso, like vipstyle, is hard to explain without making it sound ridiculous..

loose example:
vipstyle: large full face wheels on a low executive style sedan ==> can be interpreted as donk-style (large full face wheels on a sedan) or dub-style (large wheels on large cars)

bosozoku: flared out and with exaggerated aero to imitate the old japanese race cars ==> can be interpreted as rice (aero to imitate race cars)

as you can tell james, i understand the styles but i cant explain it.. keep the boso and vipstyle to those that understand and appreciate. those that dont like/understand the style dont pick a fight.

Yeah I know all about the boso styling and I appreciate that you're one of the few that properly do it right. I heard some people talking about it negatively but all I can think is that they have no clue about Japanese culture other than their cars and Godzilla. Just brush it off, there's a lot of ignorant people out there.

lots of clean cars at the show . that blue 2nd gen xb is the best i've seen (well minus the grotesque interior)

 

darren when they call arts old car bosozoku or say that the hulk car from toyko drift is boso then yes they prove to me beyond a doubt that they dont know the style what so ever
