Updated Location for Head Club Meet
As I posted in the beginning of February:
Hello my name is Erika also known as "the wifey" (chefbamm) or bammsgirl....
I posted on our scionsrus.org site and wanted to post here......
I was interested in getting all club heads together for a sit down talk, BS and food......we can have a BBQ potluck style at the park up the street from us (Don Castro) there is hella parking....park really isn't being used so in other words there is a poop load of parking.....
This meet is for Heads of Scion Clubs Only........(thought I get it out there after several PM's, Phone Calls and Texts)

Swimming Lagoon Closed till May
PICNICKING Sites are available on a first-come, first
served basis, although some reservable group sites are
available. There is a fee for reservable sites; call (510) 636-
1684 for information.
FISHING Anglers along the lake may catch trout, bass,
catfish and bluegill. The lake is stocked regularly with trout
and catfish.
A CALIFORNIA STATE FISHING LICENSE IS REQUIRED FOR
ANGLERS AGE 16 or OLDER. In addition, a Park District daily fishing
permit is required and may be purchased from a machine
located behind the snack bar ($4 in quarters required; fee
subject to change). State fish and game regulations apply.
PUBLIC TRANSIT Take AC Transit bus #95 from Hayward
BART. Some buses stop one-quarter mile from the park on
Kelly Street at Woodroe Avenue; others turn around in the
park. Service is hourly weekends and holidays only, from
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Public Transit information: 817-1717, or
see www.transit.511.org.
Don Castro’s fishing lake is regularly stocked with trout or catfish. The lifeguarded swim lagoon with snack stand and bathhouse, and the 3.5-acre lawn (visible beyond lake) offers summer recreation opportunities to area residents.
TO REACH DON CASTRO REGIONAL RECREATION AREA:
PUBLIC TRANSIT: From Hayward BART, take AC Transit bus #95
to Kelly Street and Woodroe Avenue (one-quarter mile walk to
park). Buses run hourly on weekdays (every half hour during
commute hours) and hourly on weekends. Call AC Transit to
confirm bus schedule information: 817-1717 or see
www.transit.511.org.
BY CAR: From I-580 eastbound from San Leandro, take the Center Street exit in Castro Valley; right on Center to Kelly Street; left on Kelly and left on Woodroe to the park entrance.
From I-580 westbound take the Castro Valley exit and continue
west on E. Castro Valley Blvd. to Grove Way; left on Grove; left on Center; left on Kelly; and left on Woodroe to the park entrance.
****Basically if you know how to get to Bamms and my or Gregs house its up the street from our houses****

dont see any rain in the forecast for march 8th
