imo, if youre planning to get wheels anyway....just ride on stock.

save the money you would spend on painting for a real set of wheels.

or you can call Angel's in milpitas. I know they paint wheels.

It's pretty easy to paint em. I know people who do it for $200 if you want. Honestly if you have time, you should try it yourself. All the things you need are sand paper, 2 cans of primer, 3 big spray cans of rim paint or 6 small cans, a can of clear coat, and index cards....

As you can see.... I had pretty bad curb rash before painting. I tried to sand it smooth with 400 grit, but it was pretty deep.

Mines FM w/ gold. It took me probably 3 hours for 2 wheels, than again I always had to go out and buy more material.

Let me think....
10 Minutes to Jack up car and take the wheels off
1 hour to sand 4 wheels w/ 3 friends
5 Minutes to wash rims and let it dry
30 minutes for 2 coats of primer and letting it dry
40 minutes for 3 coats of rim paint and letting it
30 minutes for clear coat and letting it dry
10 minutes to mount wheels and bring the car back to the ground

Your gonna have to be doing this twice, so roughly around 6-7 hours if you have everything and have friends.

I'm actually not even done painting my wheels... My rear 2 are the gold I want, but for the front 2 there a lighter tint. They only had bronze rim paint so I had to use 3 small cans of auto touch up paint to do 2 wheels. I'm actually repainting them this Friday, I see you live in Newark, I live in Fremont, so maybe you can stop by and check it out if you want. Also a lot of people use garbage bag and tape to cover their wheels before they paint. My friend showed me a quicker way spraying tire shine and using index cards between the rim lip and tire.
