I've been out of the loop on this... is there going to be camping or not???

If not, and people are interested, I can make my yard into campgrounds and/or magically make one of my couches into a bed for those coming from a long ways away.

 

Camping is not planned as a part of this cruise, but if anyone wishes to, they can work it out with Jenna.

 

Just found out today that on Saturday, Aug. 4 there will be an event at the Birdsview Brewery (about 7 miles west of here) called Birdstock (like Woodstock) with bands all day starting at noon. Billed as a family event. So if anyone wants to come a day early and hang around listening to all kinds of odd local bands......

 

Can't camp...going to be at HIN instead.

 

How's this for a funny coincidence?? My friend who is designing my PizzaBox advertising wrap was on a plane the other day and mentioned to a woman on the plane something about Concrete. She said she had just heard about Concrete because they have a Scion and are planning to come on the pizza run!!!!! (That is spurring my friend to get cracking with that design I've been waiting for since October.) I think he said her name is Rose???

Same here!!! I think we'll be using paper plates again because I AIN"T WASHIN' ALL THEM DISHES!!!!

 

If there is any way possible ...I'm sure gonna try, load an oversize in TN. on monday headed to Boardman,OR. then up the coast.. put me down as a "mebbe"
Canadian Bacon with 'maters & chopped pineapple as toppping...can taste it already!

 

Stickers were made by another Scion owner, Keith, and we worked long and hard to come up with the best small stickers we could.

He was able to cut the original sticker I wanted just fine, and was willing to, but it had to be BIG because of the detail.



I didn't want something that big, and several others also said they wanted small, so we tried all sorts of things, changed designs, different fonts, new miniature cutter blades for the vinyl cutter, etc.

Finally we settled on a font that he had to go out and get (I had it, he didn't) that would look OK without the letter centers, because those letter centers were just too tiny to work if the sticker was only 2.5 inches across.

So, What you see is what you get!



(Even this way the tiny bits in the letters, like the little pointy parts in the "N" and such, ar too small, and one has to be really careful with them when wiping a rag across...)

The ONLY way to get the quality and detail I would want would be to PRINT the info on vinyl rather than cut it, and that's a whole different ballgame.
