[NORTHEND MEET]Alderwood Mall (UPDATE ON 1st PAGE - 4/24/06)
WELCOME to the inevitable return of the northend meet!
EVERONE IS INVITED to your regional northend monthly meet, which will be the third Tuesday of every month.
We'll meet underneath the Loews Theater located near the food court and Claim Jumper. If that area is completely packed, the meet will automatically default to the second (or third, weather permitting) floor of the parking garage right next to Jamba Juice and Ruby's
The first meet will be January's 3rd Tuesday which is JANUARY 17TH, 2006. They will then follow in succession and happen the third Tuesday of EVERY month. Location is definitely a trial period and can rotate each month or if for some reason Alderwood doesn't work.
To keep this a TRULY NORTHEND MEET I'd like to keep it north of the I-5/I-405 interchange. Other possible options for the furture could include the Everett Mall, Marysville Outlet Mall (the new one, not sure what the proper name of it is), towns like Lake Stevens, Snohomish, Mukilteo, etc. We could maybe even do something in the summer where we all catch a ferry and go to Double Bluff on Whidbey or something... I dunno... Let's keep it interesting and fun and maybe spice it up a little. I know there's interest in avoiding the I-5/I-405 loop around the lake for at least ONE of the meets, so here's everyone's chance.
Meet time would still be around 7:30-8pm as people kind of wander in. This gives a chance for traffic to die down so everyone can get there easier.

Meet down by the huge new theater. (Can't miss it, this thing is massive and has a ground level parking lot UNDER IT, so the thing is on like 15 foot tall stilts)
We can park under the theater or as close to it as possible. This gives us access to Starbucks and Jamba Juice do get something to drink, close to restaurants if anyone is hungry afterward, and if the weather is crap (it IS winter in the northwest afterall) the food court at Alderwood has lots of booths and fireplaces and... yeah... good stuff.

Just noticed you have a tC too. SWEET! Great color choices. I was told 2-4 months for a IIP/NBM because they were in the midst of the color change and it was popular, but I sorta fell in love with the BCP.
Even easier to spot the guy with TWO Scions at a meet. Hehe

That's why we have the backup plan of under the theater or 2nd floor garage... We can at least MEET OUTSIDE and not get soaked. Then move inside and do whatever.
