Does anyone have a list of small car shows, so us newbs can go and show our cars without getting super stomped, by cars with 10's of grand in the car? I wanna start from the bottom, and not reg. my car in like IM ya know, just to get my ___ handed to me!

 

I know how you feel. When I first started showing my car it was while I lived in California and it's a little harsh on someone when you are trying to show up against cars that have thousands into their car. Now I am one of them ha ha.

As for a list, there are a couple already on this list that are good ones. Basically any show that isn't a indoor venue will be a good one to show at to get something under your belt and are fun.. You will be able to get a vibe of which ones are not large venues and which ones are. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Sorry I don't have a specific list of local smaller shows, but then again just keep your eyes out for this post 'cause they will get listed on here as people find out about them

Just got confirmation that HIN - Seattle is August 18th @ the Seahawk Expo Center

and here comes the bad news for some of you (including me)

Formula D has been confirmed on their web site that they are racing on July 14th, the same day as Excelerator VI....

that really sucks!!!!

 

Its confirmed on Hot Import Nights website that Seattle's show this year is August 18th

damn it thats the same weekend as Warped Tour I think. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

i'll take road trip and fun... not that hard of a choice

I just heard from Allie that Global Import is on and slated for May 12th.

But the sad part is that's the same day as the Kingz of Customs show down in SoCal.

I hope i dont get killed for this sugestion but from what i understand alot of you still have a little vee dub in you. and it is a show thats close to my heart. besides it would be cool to see a bunch of boxes at a bug show.

Natalie, are you doing your toyota fest again this year? i had fun last year and you had a good turn out so I think you should look into it again.

 

Having a VW myself now and what not, I know I sure wouldn't want to see a bunch of boxes showing up at a show that isn't geared towards scions, not that I'm hating on the idea.

 

Im not talking about showing, just going. I havent missed this show in five years and my box isn't stopping that
