Portland Metro Scion is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Backyard Bang Rail Jam at the Art Institutes.

Event is from noon til 4:00 pm in The Pearl.

In addition to experiencing boarding athletes attempting tricks on the rail, there will be opportunities to win free gear and season passes to the mountain, take part in the best-dressed boarder contest, be a part of live documentary film action, hear music spun by local DJs and 94.7, have great food and even get a bird’s eye view from the Widmer-sponsored VIP deck.

It is not a car show. They will actually have the street blocked off, and tons of snow brought in.

Just an event that I thought you guys might be interested in. I know a bunch of you snowboard, and they are giving away gear and passes for Mt Hood.

 

Don't board, but free gear is always nice, lol. Lets see, getting the dogs pics taken w/santa tomorrow right around the time this is taking place, so I won't be able to attend.
