Tracy and I had a great time!

Thank you Dustin, Kekai, Gabi, CoreyAnn, Mo, and anyone else that helped put this together... what a cool event.

I had my 35mm Canon A-1 there and will hopefully have the pics developed in a couple days. (And then I just have to hope they come out ok. ) Hopefully I'll have some pics posted by the weekend.

Good to see everyone again.

I had an awesome time. The Kitsap crew made Scions out of playdoh (pictures soon). And we made BB size ammo for anybody who rides our @$$. Oh, sorry.. I mean, I made the ammo. Lindsay (I don't know if she's on here or not or if her boyfriend is or not, but I do believe they're on SE.. not sure of the names though) and I worked on the Scions.

I had a grand time no less, minus the Starbucks card (even the sleepy tiger says grrrr!!! to that) and being the first participant in "Deal or no deal" and not being quite sure what the question was! But it's okay.. I gave it away as a gift.. and the next day bought the xB Transformer.. hehe.

Speaking of that, actually.. the hotwheels thing! Could anybody better explain how it works. Where exactly are the hotwheels going? And do we just collect them until a future meet and then hand them all over?

And the yearbooks were wonderfully done! Cheers to Mo and CoreyAnn (I think I understand "moca" now.. :D).

And aside from thanking those who put this together.. we have to thank everybody who came. I'm satisfied with the turnout.. very! And I wish we could've had a caravan as big as those coming from the South.. and they arrived with such good timing.

Aaaaanyway.. job well done guys, and I'm looking forward to future SCAA's and hopefully larger groups with a lot of pre-promotion by lots. And more beautiful Scions to look at.

Pictures probably not until next week. I work all day next three days, go see Roger Waters (band member from Pink Floyd; concert number two I've seen of him) the day after my last all day.. and then Friday I'll either still be down there or I'll be at home cleaning house. But I'll do my best to get pictures I have ASAP.

Edit: Oh yeah! Suggestion.. NAME TAGS. I know it can be kinda cheesy and you might feel goofy or something.. but unless you walk up to -everybody- and introduce yourself (hard for us introverts!) you don't really know who is who. Soooo, that's my only suggestion.

Hotwheels thing... more to follow on that in the next week i believe.. it'll be posted on the front page of SL.. but basically collecting hotwheels brand cars (last year did matchbox too but may change) and or cash donation... competition between car web sites.. who can donate the most... at retail cost $1=1 car average.. so cash or actuall cars.. can collect at meets then send to darren&troy (SL owners)

As for the name tags... shoulda done it.. overlooked it.. and will be there next year... we did it last year... but we missed it this time..

Cant wait to see the photos that every1 got... if and when... if we(dustin or i) could recieve a copy of them that would be great... we can fork over a few$$ if needed

I think Dustin was saying no matchbox, hotwheels only. I bought two today. I was curious on a date because I was trying to set a number to get at certain times (being daily or weekly) to get so many.. so I'm waiting on that news.

No problem.. the turnout was good, couldn't have asked for more! Name tags is an okay sacrifice for the event so well done. ;)

FORK IT OVER!! Just kidding. If anything good came out (the lighting still wasn't quite enough and even sitting way up front, my flash didn't want to light up enough for anything excellent).. in any case, if anythingn good came out, I'll be sure to share. Don't care how you use them just as long as I know! (Donations welcome? )

Name tags... They would have been a good idea, but I think they were just forgotten this year - I just checked my profile, and the one pic of last year's event in there shows everyone wearing red and white name tags.

(Hope people's pics come out. I used to be one of the folks who was always scurrying about taking pics at events, but these days, I just do NOT have the mobility to do that and leave it to everyone else.)

Once again, wish we could have made it guys. Glen dropped of my Dave Foth Lifetime Achievement award yesterday and it's awesome! I'll have to get a photo up of of my award next to Darren's mounted in our tiny office. Sweet!
