2006 Scion Community Achievement Awards!!!!!
ALRIGHTY EVERYONE!
Welcome to 2006. The show season is under full swing and the cars and people are looking HOT! That being said, I thought this year, I’d give you some time to think about what’s going down at the 2006 Scion Community Achievement Awards!!!!!!
Looks like I have the list of awards that we are going to start out with this year posted below and I look forward to adding two more. What? Two more I say? That’s right!! We listened to your feedback from last year and are giving you the chance to decide what we should give away. What I need from you is two categories we should give an award for. It can be anything from coolest shoes to ugliest dent, to prettiest face. We want you to be a bigger better part of it all this year
Now you are wondering, who gets to go to this slammin event? If you own a Scion, are related to someone who owns a Scion or has any part in keeping our community and family strong, YOU ARE INVITED!!!!
Also, thanks be to all things car club, we have a much more active Scikotics and a brand new Scion Girls joining the Scion community this year. While I still need Scikotics and Scion Girls to ring in and let me know if they want to be a part of the festivities this year in an awards capacity, SE has rung in and given me their four categories for this year. Both of the other clubs can have up to 4 club specific awards to present at this years festivity. (Contact me for details)
One last thing from this first of many posts about the HOTTEST end of the year party ever, this is going to be a weekend full of fun in late October or early November. Plan on a Saturday and Sunday event.
Okay, okay, you dragged it out of me. This year there is a theme for the party and while we are keeping it formal, the theme for this year’s 2006 Scion Community Achievement awards is:……… HAHAHAHA just kidding you’ll have to bribe me or wait!

Last year I was rather shocked and amazed to receive an award myself - pics of the award and of it being presented at last years event are in my gallery here. (The award is alive and well and lives on the wall above my main computer.)Happy to see you getting everyone thinking about this so early, Dustin. :D

bump to hear from Scikotics and Scion Girls...... I will need to know VERY soon for time purposes if you plan on being a part of the presentations. It makes a difference of whether we get the location for a half day or a half day plus an hour.
Sheep, Corey-Ann.....you guys want to field this or should I contact someone else?

Someone isnt reading - he said itd be late october early november. Durrrr!
One Idea for a member voted award would be that of a Participation award.
I know quite a few people that make most of the events just to support the
group. Some may not have the funds or desire to radically modify there
machines, but are there for morale or friendly support.
Just an Idea.

as co-creator of this... i can answer that...^^
if Sciongirls would like to, they can help sponsor part of the cost and or get a block of time to present some awards to their group... i believe 4 awards per club is current max...
just let either of us know if you'd like to present anything and how many awards etc..

This really is a universal 'all Scion clubs' function.

OK, OK.
I meant 'all Scion club' in the sense that it was not any single club, and no-one was being excluded.
Obviously it also applies to all non-afiliated folks, too - I'm one of 'em. :D
