2nd Annual Car Toys Traffic Jam Summer Show Series – Portland/Seattle
Noooooooo this was the ONE event I look forward to every year over any other, this is the show that origionally got me hooked on showing / Modding my Scion.... its so sad seeing all the great shows close shop... first scion united, scion exposed and show for a cause and now this!! .... guess we'll need to have more community events like the poker run and St Helen's cruise .... I'm guessing the Seattle one was closed because the parking lot where its normally held is occupied with construction equipment for the huge Asian cuisine and store going in where mervyns used to be... its seafood king market, jolibee, Tokyo Tokyo and a few other restaurants as well.....grrr starting to get turned off from Modding my car more... better not cancel the Titus will show too.. ill truely be sad

yes this does suck - i have seen a huge decline of shows in the NW. Not sure if it's due to the economy or the lack of interest in the NW now. Seems like shows in Cali are still booming, but up here and in canada nothing. It does suck, but there will still be some good shows coming up
Don't forget, Formula D will be here where it's a car show or not, that's still one of th best events we get

i agree kanchi, i learned that last year so this year i only care about what i want with my car, not what others want, or what judges want to see. i'm proud of what i have done with the car and i like the choices i have made. i began building the car for all the wrong reasons (magazines, judges, votes and scorecards) instead of building something i like
part of me is glad there isn't many shows this year so that maybe we can do non show related items and just have fun - no drama, no politics.
