I have a huge bbq, all the fixins, and a huge yard to have it in (I'm in a condo in Auburn but have a park as a front yard). I usually take the Bose outdoor speakers out and play some tunes and put some chairs out.

Or I can have it at the house (we have a house on an acre down the road) and we have 2 bbqs there BUT...the driveway is 1000 ft and gravel. Up to you guys.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

Yay! BBQ! We should do it at a park maybe so kids can play (if any kids) and whatever. or we could do it at someone's house where there's a restroom lol.

mmmm im hungry now.

Well we could do it at my condo then because there is the private park right there outside the door. There's also picnic tables and grass areas...and best yet...

LOTS OF ROOM FOR CARS...hehe!

But that is only if people are willing to drive to Auburn.

Sorry to be the guy here but I'm way into blowing things up on the 4th. My dad and I have a small tradition so unless we can move it somewhere in unincorporated Pierce county where fireworks are kosher, then I'm gonna stick with Dad.

The 1 acre home is in unicorporated Pierce County and we go down to the elementary school across the street every 4th to let off our fireworks in their parking lot.

Would that work?...yet again...only logistic issue is dirt driveway for 1000 ft.

Would anybody be interested in invading Carkeek Park in North Ballard? Have a beach there, playset for the kids, places to BBQ at..

Might have to Reserve though if there is a big turnout...

Okay Dustin...how about this...

I have the playground/picnic/grass area and the bbq at the condo...

Then for fireworks we all drive the one mile down the road to the unincorp. PC school parking lot?

Thoughts???

I agree with the beach thing...the problem is that all of the picnic tables and bbqs are already booked according to the City of Seattle Parks & Rec. That'd mean that we'd have to fight other groups.

Anyone else have a house??? Kekai? Maybe we can come help out with home improvement stuff too!

Too bad I'll be in TN or WI on that day, otherwise I'd come to meet you all.
