Almost time for a drive? Rodland Scion Event in May
So I think it's getting to that time of the year where it's safe to take off the winter wheels and bust out the wax. Let's all go for a drive in May. Possibly something along the coast. Sound like fun? We'll probaby have the event catered as well. Any ideas for a place to go for a fun drive?
And I think we're going to be doing an show in June again. Probably more of a competitive show with trophies and goodies again!

I hope I can make it to the Rodland show this time. I was awful bummed out I couldn't attend last time. As someone who doesn't show her cars though, I hope it's still a good event for me!
And a drive on the coast sounds good!

Ya know what would be cool?
Start off with a pancake breakfast at like 10am at the dealership then drive out to the coast at 11am and when you get to the coast and have a designated spot (coordinate with a facility over there) have a little show and shine that includes about 5 very broad trophies. Then hang for awhile longer and do late lunch/early dinner then come on back home.
Let me know if you need any help with what you decide to do

lol 3 hours is too long of a drive?? you guys have new cars you should be like WOOT A LONG DRIVE. I have a car I have to worry about going to Seattle in cuz it may explode on the way cuz its old and needs a new engine
I like that idea, Kanchi!
Everett>Deception Pass>Eat at Oak Harbor>Whidbey>Everett sounds great! Or Everett>Deception Pass>Eat at Oak Harbor>Everett.
And I guess people came from Oregon for the Pizza Run and made it home in a day. I could probably swing Ocean Shores.

And I imagine if Rodland is thinking of catering, it might be wise to keep this a bit north (but I maybe quite mistaken about that). That and I love the things North of Seattle... we don't get enough of them, lol.
But I could pull off an Ocean Shores thing, I think.

what about up chuckanut drive maybe all the way up to blaine meet at the border for luch or a picnic sort of thing, then back down the same way. That would be a nice trip as well. Of course the whole oak harbor thing sound laike a blast as well.
Chuckanut is a good suggestion too!
Oooh, we gotta ask Ariane if there is a good place to park up on the cliff in Deception pass so we can get the bestest pictures ever of our Scions together! Maybe there's a spot like that on Chuckanut too?

Heres the NW MR2s upnorth drive. Its such an awesome drive. This quoted from their last year run. I would highly suggest a drive like this'

Here we go again! Whidbey Island! This is a great springtime cruise for those that want to just enjoy the (hopefully) nice weather, and see the sights and the MR2s

Wow those all sound like pretty good ideas! I'll have to bring those up with Mike Massey when he gets back, I really like the Deception Pass drive, I've done that one before. The Chuckanuet drive sounds awesome too.
Chuckanut drive is the one we just did for VTR's poker run and that was a lot of fun. WIshed the weather was a little better. Whidbey Island is a nice idea... Just can't take the ferry back 'cause my car won't make it on it. Deceptions pass or fort casey would be cool too.
What are some places for good photo ops?
How about leavenworth?

Leavenworth sounds good too. I know Gsnorathon is itching to drive up there and mentioned it before.
So many great places to drive to in the PNW! I wonder if people in other places in the US have nearly as many neat things to see?
