C'mon, folks, this is one really good way to start the year by proving you are crazy enough to drive to Concrete in a convoy with a bunch of other Scions!

Prove you are Worthy! :D

It looks like the two of the same meet-points form last year:

Star Lake P&R, Kent, WA:
Meet @ 10:30A, head out @ 10:45.
Exit 147 (South 272nd St.) off I-5 northbound.
Turn left at bottom of exit, go under I-5, westbound.
P&R is on the right, north of 272nd, just past freeway.
Mapquest Link: http://tinyurl.com/yt7o92

Smokey Point Northbound I-5 Rest Stop, Smokey Point, WA:
Meet @ 11:30A, head out @ 11:45.
Mile Post 207 exit off I-5 northbound.
Congregate at on the "passenger car" side of rest stop at tree stump.

If there is enough interest in another meetpoint at the OLY M&G location That would probably work, too, but for right now it is those two for the northbound crew...

Bump to get this back in front of people.

Less than two weeks, people.

We have good weather on order...

Talk with ANYONE who was at either or both of the previous Pizza Runs, it it a beautiful drive, it is great pizza, and the fellowship and communing with your fellow Scion folks makes it a fun day.

Bring your GMRS/FRS walkie-talkies. Bring any extras you might have to share with those who don't have one (you'll get it back at Annie's Pizza).

As usual, I'll take the six-o'clock position to make sure that everyone in front of me is OK.

(Picture me as the guy with the push-broom, shovel and wheelbarrow following the animals in the parade...)

So, for the TA members who have seen it ( you know who you are) do we need a certain camera to record the chaos this year?!?!?!?
I think it would be a neat little surprise for people.

Who's running it this time? Who's the answer person? Is there a meet point north of Smoky Point rest stop for those NOT coming from the south?

Are there any meet points south of Star Lake?

I don't know anything about sponsors (Mocascion set this up and she's probably been quite busy and sleep deprived!!!) and I've been flapping around on a million projects so I'm just as clueless. I would be nice to meet up someplace in the Skagit Valley to join you all for the trip upriver to Concrete so maybe tomorrow I'll call Foothills to see if they'll let us show up there again??? I must admit I haven't been there lately (got my last oil change at OilWell) so I don't know if Esther still works there or not.

Another alternative could be to meet at Cascade Mall parking lot or something visible???

And if there isn't a sponsor everyone could just toss in for the pizza, kind of like a buffet.

figured I would ask since I was gonna just buy our own pizza as Cindy can have no fat after her surgury and I have ended up on the same diet and I figured you could make a pizza that had toppings we could eat.......something with vegies and stuff........and of course cheese..........figured no one else would want a low fat pizza.......LOL.

If I come up, I'll be meeting at the Star Lake P&R. I will know more later and if there is anyone else from down here going up we can meet up somewhere, like the Toutle area rest stop maybe.
