I just went to Toys R Us and got some remote controlled xBs, labeled extensively as "Toyota Scion xB" on the packaging. Even has the Toyota logo on the box!

That clip is completely silly.

Do you know how long agencies have been trying to address the issue of larger trucks and SUVs colliding with smaller cars?

This is old news and propoganda, it is extemely misleading. The title to this thread is correct... but for the wrong reasons.

They are misleading you to believe your smaller car is unsafe, and that buying a large SUVs or Truck will be safer.

Guess who makes the majority of Larger SUVs and Trucks?

all this arguing is kinda funny, I don't care what anyone calls it I jsut like the uniqueness of the vehicle and the branding is just fine for me.

As far as the whole outcome of the safety thing on Good morning america listen closely, when they say that this is the impact if a compact was to get into a colison with an SUV such as a Hummer.

Well I am sorry if you are in anything and get hit on hte side of the vehicle with anythingthe size of a Hummer then you are in trouble. I love the media they make such a huge disticnktion about every thing and hype it all up so much. What they don't tell you is that if you are in a Ford Explorer you will actually be even more hurt physicaly if you are hit on the side by something the size of a Hummer or Licln Navigator. After all they are advertised as an Urban asult vehicle.

Back to the toys I just bought... they were the last two on the shelf a light from God shone down upon them when I saw them. I hate to even give them to my children.

Unfortunately, they were the last two of all the different kinds they had there.... as though nobody wanted the silly Scion ones and snatched up the Kias and shiit.

Sorry, carry on. I'm just still tickled with them and I know my boys, Scion lovers themselves, will love them too!

Two people I have sold xBs to have been in severe side impact collisions... both walked away unharmed...
With awareness penetration under 80% in the market... I am actually kinda glad there is a mention of Toyota when discussing the Scion brand. There are a lot of people that think Scions are built in Korea or something. The media spin of this particular issue is an entirely different story though...
