Default Any tension between Xcessive Speedz and Scion Life..plz read

Hello my name is Kevin and I am the President and Founder of Xcessive Speedz Car Club.

I was informed last night of some things that were posted in regards to XS and SL. A couple of our XS members have had some issues in the past with a couple SL members, and expressed that on this forum. I understand the XS members concern that they did not want drama being brought to XS and was informed that a couple individuals from SL have been known to cause drama in the past. Since I personally do not know these people, I can't say for sure but I trust and respect the opinions of the XS club members (as well as any other club opinions). As i'm sure we've all dealt with drama in the past (and XS has had its share of drama the past year, but we are over it and moving on drama free ) I just want to clear up any tension between XS and SL. Xcessive Speedz has no issue AT ALL with Scion Life. Just browsing this website I have seen quite a few cars that would be a great addition to Xcessive Speedz, and hopefully one day we can make that a reality. In the meantime, once again I just want to state that XS has no problem for SL. We respect the Oregon Import Scene (small yes but positive clubs can make it huge) and respect the mature individuals who arent out street racing, doing burnouts in parking lots, getting in trouble with the police, who don't discriminate against people if they don't agree with your style, etc....

With that said, speaking on behalf of XS we are meeting tonight (Friday) at 8pm at Moonstruck which is located in the same parking lot as Fred Meyer and Starbucks in beaverton, and Scion Life is welcome to come over and chat, and if your interested in joining don't hesitate to let someone know. We are a competitive car club both at the car shows and on the track. We took home right around 70 trophies in 2006. 2007 is going to be a huge year for us, starting at Import Motion next weekend!

Hope this clears some things up and hope to chat with some of you tonight. If you have any questions about anything please feel free to PM here on this forum, as I will be checking back often.

Sincerely,
Kevin

hmmm, never heard of any drama, the people that I know that are part of XS that are on this forum are good guys and I support their ventures in whatever they do. Hopefully we can get an import car gtg going sometime this summer, would love to see some of the rides that Tim has mentioned, I will be at Import Motion so I'm sure I will be seeing most of them there,

I'll be honest here... This thread makes no sense at all. SL is a community of scion owners. We are here for bonding and love, so to think that there is some sort of "tension" between XS and SL is kind of weird to me.

Our community is based upon free love and birth control for the y generation.

with that said, I would like to strongly urge everyone that has not been spayed or neutered to exercise abstinence until you have been licensed to have children in accordance to your local state and federal laws. If you have no clue as to what spay and neutering is, please watch the Price is Right sometime.. Bob will let you know right at the end..

Federal ORD. #8675309 (Jenny vs. Number law)
Licensing fees for children must be paid in full before any sort of "sexual contact" (as described by Clinton). The "no looky, no touchy" law is applicable and is described in the "she's my flipping daughter handbook" issued to every dad of the aging boomer and X generation group. Please reference page 69 of said book for proper disposal of bodies of suitors.

disclaimer..
I have spoken from the hind side of several beers; please forgive me if I have offended anyone.. Na, I take that back... If I've offended you, maybe you needed to be offended. But here is my apology.. oops, lost that one too..

The reason that I posted this thread was because there was a recent topic on this forums that seemed to get out of hand and was locked and is no longer viewable to the public. With the topic last night it gave some Scion Life members a bad view of XS and I really don't want that because it is a good club. Everything is taken care of at this point and I just wanted to personally make sure everyone knows there is no problem with Scion Life as far as XS is concerned...so you can take that for what you want.

Not to sure abot the federal ORD or why it was posted but ok.

why?.... Why not is what I say...!!

Because life is too flipping serious.. I understand your post and respect what you are accomplishing both here and with XS. I cruised your site last night and read through your rules/regs. and gathered that your club is very serious about being seen as a positive influence within the community. ...

Anyways... Have fun with it.. I wish I was up that direction to swing by and see the rides. Hopefully the weather is nice and the evening warm. Tim has spoken very highly of XS which says a lot in itself. He's very well respected here on SL as a builder and a resource to our community...

Cheers...

Kevin, I just want to say thank you to you for your post here. It means alot. Somepeople will cause drama no matter where they hang. I have heard good things about XS both from Tim and a guy i work with who hangs up at the parking lot you all are going to this weekend.

It sounds like the future holds good things for us all, drama free hopefully!

Again, thanks for your post.

I'm so ____ed I missed the drama post.

Singleshot, I think I'm in serious violation of procreation laws (3 counts). I have since been spayed though. Perhaps the judge can take that into consideration.

Perhaps the most stupid but funny post made, thanks for the 6am chuckle. lol

yuppers... Coming up for Import..

Great cars, meeting new people, and hanging with friends..... I don't get to do it as often as I'd like, but I do when I can...

Besides all that, a village is not a village without the idiot running around speaking incoherant nonsense... And that my friend, is my job ...

We'll be sure to look you folks up when I'm there.

Meh... drama comes and drama goes. With any group of people it's bound to happen. Especially when Hondas are present (ducks!!)

No worries =) that was good of you to post that. Honestly, all the XS people I know are great. I actually work with one of your members hehe! Looking forward to meeting you all at IM.

I saw the original post that started all this and what I always find to be both disheartening and funny at the same time is that the people who complain or "try to avoid drama" are the same ones that cause the thing they are trying to avoid. Having a meet and greet and having a club meeting are two different things so don't post the club meeting time and location on SL if you don't want SL members to show up. It sounds to me like XS would like to maintain a high level of participation and community involvement. GJ XS. Too many times, show clubs or car clubs in general don't participate in community activities or the betterment thereof and for that you should be proud.

and that is where the misunderstanding was....no one in XS posted the meet times or said hey scion people come on our to our meet. it was a former member of XS who is showing with usfor one last show before he bids his farewel from the show world. which is exactly why i came on and requested that people dont come.

but all in all it was a misunderstand and im glad it was cleared up

Sorry, but Nick's above post is incorrect, I'm continuing my membership in XS and plan on working with the leaders of XS to help it continue to grow in the community and with future Scion rides in a show team. My tC will continue to show with them until it is sold, and I will continue with XS thereafter as well, working with them in various ways.

I'm glad that Kevin (Dark Pony) came on and restated my original invitation for All Scionlife members to come out and glad that the Scionlife community is so forgiving of any behavior that may have hurt...

I, and I know the guys at XS look forward to seeing everyone at Import motion and am very happy we've calmed the waters and are moving on!

With that... let's let her go...

Locked.
