Bronwyn has arrived!!
Below is the quick timeline of how it all went down. It was a truly amazing process.
11:30 am
So we went to the doctor for a checkup visit at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. The nurse found that CoreyAnn’s blood pressure was 149 over 100 not good. The nurse was surprised and went into action saying we are going to have the baby today. The Doctor came in and confirmed and said CoreyAnn was 2cm dilated. Instead of going to lunch as we had planned we ended up going to the triage room to wait for an open birthing sweet. Poor CoreyAnn had not eaten much so Kayla and I snuck her in some chocolate covered doughnuts and ice cream.
1:30 pm
We get a room by and by 2:30pm the IV was in with the meds to induce labor.
5:15 pm
The doctor decided to break CoreyAnn’s water with a metal hook.
At around 8:25
I make the mistake of going to get something to eat. I order my food and get a text fro Kelly asking me to come back to the room. I decided to wait for my food and then went up there by 8:45. When I went in CoreyAnn was in the process of having an epidural put in. She did fine with the pain buy while I was gone she started to get sever shakes which we were told were common and an epidural can stop them. CoreyAnn was dilated to 5cm by this point.
At 10:15pm
CoreyAnn had an urge to push so I got the nurse and doctor and they said it was time.
10:43
Bronwyn Aaleyah Khan was officially delivered. Weighing in at 8pounds and 33 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches on Thursday February 7th 2008.
CoreyAnn and Bronwyn are both doing well. As log as CoreyAnn’s blood pressure comes down she should be able to come home tomorrow. Bronwyn still needs to be seen by a pediatrician before she is released.

Good job Corey Ann and Mo!!! Don't you just love her?? What a little sweetie. For someone so tiny, you'll be amazed at the roller coaster ride she'll put you on but you'll still love her. What a marvelous, miraculous blessing!!!!!!!
