Car Show July 29th....and I need help!!!!
so without thinking about it, I said SE and the PNW Scion community would be trophy sponsors at my favorite car show all year. I made the promise back in January and totally forgot about it until now.
Its for the North County Food Bank and is called BATTLEGROUND APPLE
We have 4 catagories, Best Scion, Best xB, xA, and tC but need to pay for them.
Total comes to 400 bucks and I am stuck. Between Exposed 3.0, Feed the Need, and the All Toyota Fest, I'm broke as a joke and have nothing to give.
Who's got some ideas? The cell phone thing so far is netting us about 12 bucks.....so thats not working too well and I am just stuck for ideas.....
ANyone?
Anyone?
Bueller
Beuller
Where: Battlegroud WA, Fairground Park
When: July 29th 2006
Cost: 10.00
More info soon and hopefully together we can raise the money needed!!!!!

Gosh golly...first of all I have a phone in my car for you. I have a short attention span so remind me next time I see you!
Second of all...thoughts on how to raise $...hmmm
Yes, car washes.
BBQ fundraiser?
What about a local SE donation plate pass around...everyone just pitch in $10-15? How many members does SE have locally?

I live in Battle Ground. I'll check with some trophy shops to see if they will donate trophy's or help with a price break. Is the 10.00 cost at the door or pre-register?

Car Wash, Pacific Highway...
Last time the weather got nice, I saw a line bunch of Honda guys *not the ricers for a change* doing an awesome job.
2 lines, 4 cars each, move ahead to dry and extra cost to detail your car completely, minus paint scratch repair.
They also provided an vaccum service powered simply by a couple of small Honda generators and shop vacs.
They had about 25 people there, extremely well organized.
I stopped by there just to see how much give or take they made and the simple reply was "nearing $1000 within a full days worth"
