Default the Castle

All right I thought maybe I should start a new thread for this;

For those of you who do not know yet. Recently a few business partners and I went together and Purchased a nightclub in Everett. It was once know as the Castle Casino. IT turned into an alternative bar about 14 months ago. THrough some very bad management it went down in flames about two weeks ago.

We were approached by the landlords and asked if we would consider taking over the establishment. After a lot of research we decided to move forward with the purchase.
We purchased the Castle on Monday and every intention of Opening this Friday for our first night on September 7, 2007.

Now this is not our official opening, it will be a soft opening with really only a few people knowing that we will be open. We are not quite ready for a full on opening yet. We still have to move the location of the existing bar before we can finish our liquor liscense.

What that means that if you are interested in coming out this weekend and seeing what is going on, I would really love it, however the restaraunt will not be in full swing yet, we will be serving a limited menue, but really good food by a profesional Italian Chef.

However hopefully by next weekend we can have the restaruant in full swing, and everyone can come out and enjoy the fantastic surroundings.

Hopefully we will see you all soon.

Victor

Victor, hope everything goes well with your new business venture, always thought it would be cool to own a nightclub. Do I here VIP Scion Nights? Wear Scion swag=no cover, lol. Sometimes I wish I lived farther north so that these things would be within reach, oh well.

Dang! I missed this!?!!

Long drive for me, Victor (and gang) but I absolutely do plan to make it up there. Be nice to have a little more info on the place, too - at least enough to know how to dress (or not).

Best of luck for the place!!!

And, uh,

The "old" Castle had a website, I assume it came with the property and you will be taking it over?

At least there are some pics of it in the site gallery.

Keeping the same format, I assume, Victor?

Looks like it should be a kick. Haven't been to a GLBT club for years.

Have to check with you to make sure you'll be there if I decide to roll up there.

thanks everyone. there is so much going on there right now. I will have a night for Scion owners, but not untill I finish some of the remodeling. I am trying to paint and We still have to move the placement of the bar before I get final approval for my liquor licsence. Which means I have two weeks untill the one that we have now expires.

That web site is really cool but it is not mine and I am affraid as to what he is going to do with that site. We changed the name to the Castle Ristorante and Lounge. no more nightclub. And unfortunatly we did not buy is from the previous operator, he went under from a few bad decisions. How ever we are running at full steam, and having fun, there are just not enough hours in the day to get things done. And not enough time to sleep and enough money in the bank lol for all of the things that I would like to do.

But the music is going, we have way better food now. Pino, Giovanni's father, is the chef and also a bussiness partner. So we have a fantastic italian menu being planed and dinner specials now every night that we are open. So I hope that you all can come up and see us soon.

Italian and Sicilian are some of my best dishes........

Make sure to get the good Scotch in the bar.........I like $20 a shot Scotch with a diet Coke.......don't ask....

He wouldn't dare carry my scotch - Laphroaig.

Lovely stuff - a lowlands single malt that looks almost like very strong tea and tastes like tincture of iodine that has been filtered through a peat bog.
