yeah. the alphawerk header deletes one cat. so there is less restriction when it comes to exhaust. But the power increase is great right? its a lot better than stock. I didn't like the noise at first, but got used to it. Its the sound of PERFORMANCE.

Why would 18s be an issue for u? My tC was on s-techs and they never rubbed. There's a lot of wheel well to spare. When I first put them on, they actually looked like 17s to me. But after a few days they looked like 18s. Their only 17lbs per rim compared to 22lb stock rims.

Why are you parting out your tC? Getting a different car?

ummm mostly cause the 17's are lighter than the 18's and keep the bulk of the rotating mass closer to the hub... besides the 17's i have are lighter than those 18's... but i know that the 17 inch gram lights are lighter than what i have. its not about how it looks... its about the weight.

I parted out my tC because on my way home some lady decided to run a redlight and HIT me while I was crossing an intersection. I loved my tC! It's a shame all this time, effort, and money went to waste. Its like everything hard I worked for was taken from me because of an irrisponsible decision this lady made that night. The driver was driving on a suspended liscense and was uninsured (it wasn't even her car she was driving).

I'm not sure what type of legal actions my insurance company will take on her. Suposively they are going after the OWNER of the vehicle she was driving.

OHHH!! and this is a very important matter I must share with you ALL! When I got hit, it intially impacted on the front by the driver side, then again on my drivers side rear quarter panel. After impact I pulled over to the side, then the CURTAIN AIRBAG DEPLOYED. It didn't deploy on impact, is this an issue I should take up to Scion???

It was pretty delayed IMO.

What do you guys sugest???

I see your point. I was obviously going for the "bling" factor with my car. I was hoping to get into some local shows with my tC.
But! if you do know anyone interested in purchasing rims please put in the word for me. I'm still stuck with payments on the rims that aren't even on a car anymore.

They is NOW a recall with Scion about the Side Impact Air Bags on SOME tCs.... I'd call your Scion Customer Service Rep and at least discuss it with them... If you weren't hurt by it, I'm not sure what would happen, but at least you could explore it.
