I'm pretty puzzled by this very little known fact. I went down to Dash Point State Park for some swimming in this beautiful weather. It is the first time I decided to venture into the cool waters of the "Ocean" and was shocked on how WARM the water was. It wasn't the chilling freezing cold that you would get at Alki or in Port Townsend, etc.. it was pretty much swimming pool water.. very mild, extremely enjoyable!

Anybody know why this is? Heck, now that I know this, Dash Point has became an instant favorite!

The babes there didn't hurt to make it a top list of my favorite beaches neither

As for the water, i am not sure why that section was nice and warm, but maybe I will have to come down and check it out...

On another note...... Why weren't you with us at the drive to Mt St Helens??
