hey guys. so ive been talking with a couple people, Phil Habibi and Dave who are the head scion guys here at the gladstone toyota scion dealership about setting up a show and shine for local PNW scion owners. we had one last year if you can remember. Robbie i know you came and i think a couple other peeps came as well... they sound pretty enthusiastic and will make plans to bring out the corporate NWscion events cars and a DJ, plus provide a BBQ. i have yet to discuss trophy options and judging classes but lets settle the date issue first.

we need to figure out an exact date to do this that works best for everybody because i want you washingtonian folk to come down to this. especially josh and cliff they want to see your xBs. i was telling Phil about them...

as far as i know here are the events i know of:

May 3rd is the xD rally party here at the slate
May 8th is the FR-S welcoming party ALSO at the slate
May 27th Import Faceoff here at the Woodburn Drag strip
June 3 Import Faceoff in Kent, WA - Pacific Raceways
June 9 the HIGHLY anticipated MT. ST helens cruise
June 23 NOS Forum Fest in Kent, WA - Pacific Raceways
July 21 SCION RODEO!!!! in the dalles, OR
August 17-19 Pandemonium 2012, RENO NV
September 2 PSTOF toyotafest in Tacoma, WA @ griots

so im thinking lets make this show the first weekend of July.

Saturday JULY 7th.

from what i can see this would be the best date. what are your thoughts guys?

also see attached pic for event location. last year the emptied the entire front lot for us.

at least two Big events in June , July is the Scion Rodeo , a Big show with two nights in motel $$$.. There is no way I can make it.

I haven't seen anything about an event at the slate for the rally team. I've been asking them if anything was going on for two weeks now. We are going to go down Thurs. afternoon and check out the cars.

Justin, here are a few dates some of us have looked at for 2012.. This gives us at least One good strong Drive/Event per month

and we still have at least three more cruises/events that have been talked about , butt haven't been dated... Brother we are doin' werk up here I will talk at coffee in a few hours and post an update tomorrow

Where are they posting the events for the slate? Would be awesome to hear when there are Scion events even if they are 400million miles away lol.

Only 2 I know of from Regional is May 3rd, Rally xD party @ theSLATE in NE Portland from 7-10pm & I just got word about the FR-S which is May 8th also at theSLATE but haven't received word on time yet, which I did start a thread on that

the projected date for the Photo Scavenger hunt is SUnday August 5th, just throwing that out there, and we are trying to put a drive together for one of the last drive in theaters in Washington up in Oak harbour and also to show our Whibey Island Brothers that we support them as well

well i dont know how many people from washington are going to pandemonium. i know cliff is riding with me. and i think robbie will be going he did last year. we could make it last weekend of september hows that sound? that way its around a month since pandemonium and it will give is plenty of time after toyotafest in tacoma.

how about september 29th? its a saturday

well i need people to chime in and say if that would work for them and they would possibly come down to it. i don't want to get everything set up with the dealer and Phil Habibi and get NWscion events to come out with the corporate cars and a DJ and all that stuff planned only to have a few people show up.
