Default Does anyone here want for free

I was gonna send the Xbox 360 in back in January cause I got the 3 rings of death,It is out of warrenty and will cost $100 for them to replace it.

I would probably have to reregister it for shipping from your address and such.

I just went last night and got a new one instead since Best Buy is closing them out for $149....and with summer coming Joe can have something other than gettgin into trouble to do that way.

I have the power supply, and some other stuff,no controller or harddrive.....but I am giving it away guys......small apartment and too much crap in boxes everywhere to be able to even move around at this point.

can i have it? i repair electronics and had to sell mine for a down payment to get my tc.

and the towel trick only works for a little bit and will make the unit worse. the reason why it works in the first place is the boards soldering fractures from certain traces on the chips(manufacturing defect)... the towel overheats the solder and makes it temporarily reflow (to a degree i suppose)...

problem is it will burn up the traces from overheating. so the only real fix is to take it apart and improve the cooling after re flow soldering the boards.
