Drive in theater this saturday the 7th - Anyone???
So i just looked up the movies that are playing at the drive ins in Everett and it is the new transformer movie and shrek 3
My only concern is that since it's opening weekend for transformers, we probably need to get there early so that we can get a decent spot. Doors open at 7pm so I am guessing maybe 530pm would be a good time to meet up there. I am not sure what order the movies are being played, but either way it will be croweded I am sure.
So.....anyone interested?

I'm hesitent about this film...as I was a huge fan as a child.
I still have my originial Optimus Prime from the 1984 gen 1 toy series:
And back when I was an action figure collector, I even when to BotCon one year.
Now I'm older & wiser and while I got rid of most of my collections years ago, the memories are so fond I don't know if this film can ever compare.
Aside:
What's sad looking back on the hits of the late 70s/early 80s...that kids these days have such drab in terms of cartoons & action heros. I mean...where are the Transformers, Care Bears, Starblazers, Star Wars, GI Joes, My Little Ponies, He-Mans, and Strawberry Shortcakes of the current generation? The kids these days are truly missing out!!! (BTW - most of the icons mentioned above can be found resurrected and plastered on tshirts at Hot Topic )

I have had zero luck getting ahold of the person i talked to about reserving a row. it seems that the high school summer vacation help has no clue what is going on.. ..go figure.
On a better note i drove by last night around 730 and there were only about 20 cars lined up to get in. i think if people dont mind hatching, since we have no tailgates, it for a while we should get great spots if we meet around 7 or 730. plus those who are there early can probably save spots for the real slackers(thank you shawn )
