Default F@#g ticket

I was headed to work this morning and there was like no one out so I was just cruesing to work when I saw the lights that told me I was cruesing a little to fast. When the officer told me how fast I thought I was going to be in really big trouble. but since it is christmas time he only wrote me up for doing 80 in a 60, He was a really cool guy. he was in the Malabu I didn't think it was a cop because it didn't have the EXMT plate.

I have to go to shore line to take care of it what the hell is that about

Did you request the change of venue on the ticket?

I wish I had for a ticket I got last year...Shoreline is a horrible place...the judges could care less and didn't let anyone off or mitigate it down the whole time I was there!

It ended up going on my clean record...bastards!

next to where you sign your same there is a box to check if you want to have the venue held in your district. The thing is they don't explain this to you, they just tell you to sign the ticket. Basically, it makes the officer come to you if you contest the ticket, and they very rarely show unless its a high dollar ticket. Check it out, for next time!

If you haven't had a "deferment" before you can qualify for it. Ask the judge. Basically you pay a $100 administrative fee and if you don't get another ticket within a year you get the original ticket expunged from your record as if it didn't happen. If you do get a ticket within a year...you have to pay for both tickets and interest fees and both will go on your record.

You can only get 1 deferment every 7 years.

I never even got a chance to use mine! They also don't want to see any in your past for a certain number of years as well, but i can't remember how many, sorry!

Not all police vehicles have an exempt plate (or XMT as it's stamped on the plate). Washington State Patrol vehicle plates look like standard 123-ABC plates except their plates always end with 123-WSP or 1234-SP. Some use completely standard plates - Bremerton PD uses an unmarked Subaru Legacy GT with standard plates and it's very effective (not to mention really cool looking). http://www1.kitsapsun.com/bsun/local...731537,00.html

Best thing to keep the ticket off your record (other than deferring, if that's an option for you) is to hire an attorney specializing in traffic tickes. I've had great success with Mitch Greene and Doug Silva. PM me if you want their numbers.

The "deferrment" option also only will work if you do not have a commercial license (CDL)

most of the unmarked cars from talking to the 'fuzz' or 'pigs' if you will, said that they are donated cars from dealers and just run normal plates. i got pulled by one of those guys but he had a bs reason my rear plate light was out, needless to say he just said get it fixed and go home asap.

btw how fast were u going?

Up here and north they have a couple Malbu's, a black Tahoe, a white Camaro, a green late 90's explorer, and tons of bikes. The thing to watchout for is almost all of the undercover cars are 4-door vehicles, and all have very dark tinted windows! The other thing is, I don't think I have ever seen a cop in an inport vehicle so,that to!

So to review: Domestic 4-doors, with really dark tinted windows! Good thing there's not to many of those on the road!

Guess I'll have to watch out for that Subaru whenever I'm there, then! Creepy.

It's also been quite a while since I've been out in Bremerton and Silverdale at 1:00 AM on a Friday/Saturday night... holy crap!! The cops were everywhere. I mean, they're always around to begin with.. but jeeze, it was insane.

If you haven't had a deferment before, just ask the judge when you go in...promise not to get another ticket in a year...and they'll give it to you for the administrative cost.
