Only one suggestion that I can think of
I think posting up an agenda would be helpful because I didnt know if there was going to be hors deauvers (sp?) or not so I didnt eat when my friend and I stopped by Jack in the Box.

ummm fireworks and strobe lights and smoke machines and those blow up bouncing play things that little kids go into and jump around, clowns, people walking around on stilts, and oh yeah what is that thing we use to get back in the day??? oh yeah party hats lol
A better prepared speaker who doesn't stay up till 4am the night before ha ha ha just kidding..
Umm...I kinda agree with Natalie on the appetizer thing. Other then that, I think it went well. Very creative way to get rid of the gifts and the presentation went well..

I honestly still don't know what it is.
"oh.. and since i've gotten a few "what are the SCAAs" throwin my way...
they are the Scion Community Acheivement Awards.... recognizing dealerships and peoples contributions to the Scion owners and enthusiasts... be it cool mods, events for us to attend, or just a cool person to hang out with...."
we gave out cool plaques, prizes from sea-monkeys to ipods, gift cards, good food, recognized: photography skills, dealer support, scion owner support, good attitudes, car mod skills, willingness to travel all over the place, and several other awards...
early plans are to have it same place next year.. but with lots and lots more people there.... DONT MAKE ME INVITE ALL OF WATTORA!!!! they'll smash our cars..
lol... eh.. no worries.. we'll pencil you in for a table next year... just paypal $250 too..... j/k
think we will need to work with some dealerships to advise their customors about the award show... that may get more people in the door too

I think the games were awsome and the lil doodads on the tables were a blast.
Oops, I posted my suggestion in the aftermath one... my only suggestion was nametags.
Oh yeah! Suggestion.. NAME TAGS. I know it can be kinda cheesy and you might feel goofy or something.. but unless you walk up to -everybody- and introduce yourself (hard for us introverts!) you don't really know who is who. Soooo, that's my only suggestion.

There's supposed to be a red X next to the edit button but it isn't always there.
Besides nametags, the only thing I would change is to finish up any onstage business before food is served. Once people start to eat, mingle, and chat it's difficult to get attention back to the stage.
Food was great, it was cool seeing everyone together, and I'm sure the next one will be even better.

We know its planned, and we know plans slip and change as they unfold in real life, but having a published pre-event 'agenda' as suggested by Natalie would help a lot. Even just having a rough idea what time dinner was planned to start would have made MY planning much easier.
Photos and more photos. I used to be the guy who seemed to be everywhere with a camera - I don't have the mobility to do that anymore, so I have to depend on others. If it takes 'best photo' contest to get people to take photos and post 'em, maybe you should try that.
Some small momento that says 'Xth Annual SCAA' on it for all attendees. It doesn't have to be much - in fact it should be small and inexpensive - but it should be something that ONLY attendees get. It would be something folks could collect, could keep, could point to and say "I was there."
Nametags - 'nuff said.
So long as the MC is wandering 'round with a wireless mic, how 'bout him introducing everyone to the group. Not "HERE, SAY SOMETHING" as a mic is thrust into their faces (some of us are quite comfortable with that, others are not, all of us could use some warning), but walk up to a table and read the tags as the folks stand up one at a time. This should be near the beginning of the event. I'm sure there were people there I would like to meet, and have chatted with on-line, but I have no idea who most of the folks were.
Other than little things like that, it all seemed to go well.
Even my mum thought you did a good job. She was quite pleased, actually. :D
