Are people going to stay the whole day? CoreyAnn, how long is your father going to be there checking the cars? I guessing that I will probably show up in the late morning or early afternoon...probably around noon.
Oh...he'll be there almost all day starting at 8 am.

Would you recommend pre-paying? Also...does one get more than one go? Mo wanted to try out one run in each car...and then have me do one in each car...is that possible?

Typically, you would have to each register one car, but you could put the other person as another driver. So Mo would register one car, and you you as the other driver. And you would register the other car, and put Mo as the other driver.

However, I think it is already full. At least...pre-registration is. I think they will have some drive up spots open, but you have to be there early to get in line. Plus, there are always a few no-shows.

If you didn't pre-register and are going up there, keep in mind that you might not be able to race.

And you typicall get a few runs in. I got about 6 runs in when I went to one. But I also did the morning and afternoon session.

Oh...I didn't get it...I thought it was pre-registration along the lines of BOTI or something...where people can still drive up and get in on the action.

I'm still going to be there crack of dawn to at least try to get those couple of drive up spots...at least one for Mo.

Thanks for the info. I wouldn't register twice for each car just to take it out...Mo is silly if he wants to pay $120 just for each of us to drive each car...just plain crazy.

We'll be taking both but maybe only registering one. My dad's going to work on our paint too so I want them both to be there.

I'm not registering my car, even tho it be fun since I have nothing on the inside and it's super light now, but I'm thinking if I can make it I will be there to hang out and watch... So just like Jenna asked, what time is everyone thinking about getting there that is going to only watch?

Do spectators have to pay anything? And I'm guessing there's food onsite or nearby?

Spectators do not need to pay (I don't think), however you will need to sign a waiver before entering the event.

I don't think there will be food onsite, as it is the Boeing parking lot however I'm sure there is food nearby. Although, at some events lunch is provided for the drivers. It does not appear that this is one of those events.

Well I'm there in the Zebra MR2. I hope to see some of you out there. I'll also have my Celica there and maybe we can take some photos.

Would my SCCA class be WSE? Can someone explain because Scion is not on the list.

Have you ever seen that rulebook? It's pver 100 pages!

And I can't find reference to Scion xBs in it. Maybe no one has ever tried? I can only find the tC referred to.

It's actually more towards 300 pages if I remember correctly. I'll try and ask my local SCCA guys as I don't know off the top of my head.

Maybe I can go to the event and the people there can tell me where I'd fall.

Would they be helpful in that regards? Do they have authority to "class" me?

Yes yes they do, there's always an event chair or event steward that should be able to help you. Otherwise they'll stick you in a fill all category... I think... F stock or something to that effect.
