And I'm hoping this year, go get a couple Gushi autographed things .
(I'm wondering if Scion will spring, and show us a good time again this year?)

you're right but you never know what could happen. I see they are listing Circuit City as their main presentation sponsor again, and as we all know, CC has gone bye bye! I guess it's wishful thinking, but things could change. Maybe if everyone writes to scion. LOL!

If you look no auto manufacturer is an official sponsor. And to my knowledge never has been.

Though Scion has sponsored 2 cars for this season. Ken Gushi from last year in the RSR tC and the addition is Tanner Foust in the Rockstar tC.

For all you drifting nutz check out EverythingDrift and WreckedMag for lots of good info and some great behind the scenes stuff.

Yeah, I was looking at Wreckedmag today. Good site/info. I didn't know/remember Scion not being an official sponsor last year. maybe hope is not lost. Although I was thinking with the economy the way it is now, we might not get our hopes too up for Scion to do ANYTHING major this year (exposed).

So, I fired off a message to Scion, about the upcoming Formula D In Monroe. I got a reply this morning, take it for what it's worth..

Mr. Arends:

Thanks for contacting Scion! We appreciate your interest in Formula D and Scion's involvement there. While we haven't disclosed the extent of any sponsorship for this year, please rest assured that Scion will be heavily involved in Formula D for the coming season. In fact, the RS*R Scion Drift team has added a second driver in another custom built rear wheel drive tC.

Please let us know if you have any other questions! You may contact us directly at 1-866-70-SCION or by email at Scion.com
