Default A good day *Nissan GTR content*

We'll today my bf and his cousin gio had their day made by getting to experience the new nissan skyline. The bf could not stop talking about how fast and amazing that car is. Anyone else experience how amazing this car is? I unfortunately did not get to with them but I sure did get a good detailed explanation. Anyway he's some pics they took to share with anyone interested.

The GT-R is a good machine. It is truly for the enthusiast.

But at the end of the day it's an 80k dollar Nissan.

With lots of amazing machines in the past few years one has to look at where their money is going. For example 40-50k you can find a clean example of a Porsche 996 Turbo, and use the saved money to make it better. To be honest for the money I'd rather find a nice exotic than a Nissan.

I do miss how the GT-R was a model of the Skyline, because Skylines were the every car from Nissan, Taxi's Grocery getters.. you name it. From the GT, GT-T, GT-ST, all the way to the GT-R. Now after the R34 Nissan spun the GT-R off as it's own machine. It allowed tuners and companies to make more universal parts, depending on your needs you could take a GT-ST and make a RWD monster using some GT-R parts.. now that is no longer the case,.. just my 2 cents though.

crazy comparison. I like the look of that rs focus too. There is a GT-R around here, Owned by the person that has looked down so much at imports and has a garage stacked full of muscle and american made cars but in the front is a GT-R he daily drives.

Beautiful machine, HOWEVER.......reading the warranty I want nothing to do with this car. Turn VDC off and it voids your warranty. Using LC essentially voids the warranty due to turning off the VDC. You do anything but drive straight and it voids your warranty.

And the raping done on the back end is just uncalled for. $20,000 to replace the transmission when you void the warranty, $900 for a 5K service......yada yada yada. The Skyline Tax is outragious.

Thanks but I will settle for my G37S Coupe.

x2 Brian.. I never thought I'd say this but.. I would buy a Focus, the RS if we got it.

Most automakers really miss the boat they need to understand the 18-30 demographic really wants 2dr coupe's, quick, RWD, turbo's...etc. They don't get it. If you build it they will buy it.

I've been a fan of European Ford compacts since the late 90s. Have you ever heard of a Ford Escort COSWORTH? Even the 1st Gen Focus had an RS that the US didn't even see

I didn't realize the Focus RS was so awesome. It looks pretty good too. We always miss out on all the good stuff.
