So late sat. night I got a call and I was told there was a car show in Anacortes put on by Majestic Glass Corvette Club. The call basically was telling me that I had an invite to take my box up there and show it at the show..

So I did

And.....

I WON 2nd place overall of all the imports, classics and hot rods that were there.

The trophy I got is a glass star that says 2nd place overall. The coolest thing about this show was how laid back it was. No politics, no up tight people and sweet old guys/gals w/ real nice cars. This show was actually judged by the people who were there to look at the cars and who had registered a car.

Overall it was a awsome car show and any more classic/hot rod shows I get invited to I will be definitely doing again.

Thought i share with everyone that I got this trophy (specially since I didn't at the last show ha ha ha) and that older people with hot rods & classic cars do like certain imports.. ha ha

 

Congrats!!! That sounds like a lot of fun. We should try to do some shows like that. Post a pic of your trophy. PEACE!!!

yeah those little shows are a blast... dustin and i did like 20 of them last year.... pretty laid back.... and heck.. one show they had dustin and i judge best interior and best in show.....

Congrats, thats a good story to read about. I can't wait to get into that fun stuff, even if I don't win, it sure sounds like a good time to show off what ya got and meet some people.
