This weekend up in canada at SCN i had alot of time to sit and ponder my idea. I've liked the toaster ever since it came out but got a tC because i got a wicked good deal on one. But while sitting at SCN all freaking day, and staring at the few boxes that were there, ideas sparked in my head one after another. I think with the facilities open to me i could do alot more with a box than i could with my tC

im 99.9% sure this was the first and last "show" for my tC. Im going in to talk to kelly at gladstone scion either today or tomorrow about trading her in for an xB. im tired of paying $400 in gas and $164 car payment and $98 insurance. Im a poor college kid and i want money to be able to mod my car instead of paying it all to maintain it. heh. Im sure these payments are nothing to you, but keep in mind im a poor college student..

Nothing is final yet but after i talk to kelly then i can make my decision. Feel free to chime in with input and such.

I say do it. Just don't get Thunder Cloud as the color. There's already too many out there. The Maroon with some nice Bronze wheels would look sweet.

Ack..... as for his gas habbits..... i followed (or at least attmepted to) and watched his driving up to SCN.... i can see where his gas is going......lol... tho that coulda been an isolated instance

 

um id try selling your car rather than trading it in because i dont think kelly has a say in what you get for your car and i bet you would get alot more selling it than trading it to the dealership

 

Actually trade in values for the tC are still pretty high. Most dealerships can easily resell them for more than new price - it's sad, but certainly true.

With the work you have already done, I would think you could get more for it in the private market than to trade in. Then have more equity in the box when you get it or more cash for mods!

 

I thank you can get a good deal on it at my work if you come and see me. i'am at work till 4:00 p.m all week long

same here. i've been really looking into getting a box. but the wife wants it instead so i have to get her one before i get one. but anyways, selling parts?

 

actually im just parting out my wheels...my FM unknowns to a guy we met on the way home from SCN hahaha. other than that im just leaving it and trading it in. Kelly does have a say in what i get so she will make sure i get top dollar. i dont want to take the time in privat selling it.

as for color and such. i have a little somethin up my sleeve but im not telling what it is. i will be getting a black box..manual. thats it all nothin else. i have ideas forming and im pretty sure im set on one. only a select few know...well pretty much me and tims wifey. i'll have more info tomorrow when i go talk to kelly.
