Default Help with header install.

I ordered headers off of ebay, and when they get in would anyone be interested in helping with the install? I have all the tools and I have done all my mods myself, but I have been reading up on this install and I would like to have somone who has done this already to help.

Thanks.

Sure I wouldn't mind helping out at all, it'll give me some experience and what to expect when I install my header.

Sounds great Brian, are you going to the Import Motion show?

I too just got a header that I need to install... I helped with the turbo install on Joel from Car Nutz xB, I figure the header will be much easier. It's all about time for though... depending on when and where I may or may not be able to participate.

I was also planning on buying new gaskets from Toyota prior to installing mine. I might suggest you do the same.

Mine comes with the gasket that bolts to the engine, but not the one that goes to the exhaust. Do have part #'s?

cool, what headers did you get? I am sure they are much higher end than mine, I've seen your ride. Where would you want to do this? If you want to come up we can do it at my house, I don't have a garage, but I have a car port and lots of tools. Let me know, I can't wait to see what kind of differance it will make. On a side note my ABS front lip will be here on Monday, color matched and ready to go!

My header is from Strup. Which ABS front lip did you get?

I'll need to wait until we can figure out a date to determine where we do the install. I have a garage I can use in Bellevue or I might see if we can get a shop to host the install. A lift makes this install a cake walk.

A shop would be great!! That would be the way to go. I got the ABS X II lip.

HEY!! I did a little talking and a shop it is! I'm starting a new thread for this, but I've arranged to have a Scion tech/install day at Car Nutz in Bellevue on March 25th! I'll be coordinating this event with Joel the Manager and a fellow xB owner. So far I know that he'll be showing off his now tuned and ready to rock Greddy turbo charged xB!
