Default Help identify xB grille I saw at HIN Seattle.

The Memphis Car Audio display had an xB. Memphis rep was clueless about the car.

The grille looks to be stamped out of stainless steel in a diamond mesh pattern. It's not cut from mesh stock because the upper corners have small areas without the diamond cutouts. Nicely contoured. Edges cleanly rolled. Open in back to the engine compartment. No identifying marks I could find.

Any help?

That would be Dave's Xb. I don't see him post up on here very much anymore so I am not sure if you will get a answer to that question, but hopefully someone will be able to help you out from here.. I am pretty sure tho that it was a custom made grille, not one you can purchase somewhere

It's Foth's car. The reason the rep didn't know about is because they really had nothing to do with the car.

I'll see Dave this afternoon, so I'll ask him about it. It's most likely totally custom made.

If I read it correctly somewhere, it's the grill off of an RS2 xB.

That is correct, the grill is from the RS 2.0 xB. I modified it by removing the backing plate and re-riviting on the brackets with some little shim spacers. The main reason for removing the backing plate was to push more air into the Perrin intake. Funny enough there was an RS 2.0 about 40 feet away with a greddy turbo kit on it, the grill on my car came from that car back when Joel at Car Nutz owned it. We traded! The turbo RS 2.0 now sports an aftermarket urithane sport grill. The memphis rep knows a ton about memphis and car stereo, but that show was the first time he'd seen my car. There was a paper on the windshield that listed all my mods.
