Default If You Haven't Heard... tC is Going Away

The Word has pretty much gotten out a bit about it, but....

YES, the tC is for sale and I'm getting out of the whole show scene. I've had a change in priority in the last few months (NO KIDS ON THE WAY "YET") and am just looking to cut my losses and let it go to anyone who desires the ride.

If you search or anything, you could find it on autotrader or craigslist currently, but not selling it here, so no need for movement... just letting the homies know for certain that it's going down and to look out for whomever picks it up

I'll still be around... heck, I still love our little box and know the tC inside and out... but, no more WDS to worry about at shows... Hell, if you know anyone who wants one at a KILLER price, it's all fair game I guess...

See you around!

I saw it on Autotrader and sent the link to some Bay area friends to see if they're interested.

We all love his car as well.

Tim - you're going to make sure that the person who buys it appreciates how special it is right!?! Just don't let it become a car for some high-school kid who'll ding it up as soon as they get it!!!

^ That was some of the other guy's concerns... but, I guess if they buy it and want to show it, they'll have to put a little time into it themselves to build a rep with the locals... I'm in no crazy rush and not crazy desperate to lose her, so it's all good... we'll see what develops

I did the math and am not crazy greedy, so the price for all the work and parts is really actually decently cheap, so someone will get a killer car for nothin' comparitively... to build a stock car up to where she is now will take a lot more than the price in parts alone, none-the-less labor... and she still runs like the lovely monster she is... nice and happy...

But, I'm on craigslist and will probably put on SL in a bit for the ballpark of 22k (Which is less than I just threw up on Autotrader for kicks) , and open if I know or you know the buyer for even a better deal as well... I still have the original seats, wheels and tires, steering wheel, stock tails, etc... in case they aren't crazy modders and want a bit of DOT compliance...

Who knows though... maybe someone just wants a nice modded car and is not into the show scene... I just wait for the PM from someone on SL saying the competed against it at a show, or something along that line.... that'd be hilarious and I'm sure there would be some great stories told about how the car was built and such... It's all been great fun, but big things in the works and cars are not part of them... so... transitions.... transitions....

Thats sad. Boo boo. Its such a nice car and you've worked hard on it.

Hmmm,... other than that, I'd like to take those smoked tails of yours off your hands. :D I was thinking about getting mine done in the next couple of weeks,.. but I'm not sure.

Wow Tim . . . I never thought you would get rid of your tC, but as someone who was in the same position last year I completely understand. It's hard to get rid of something that you put so much time, sweat, and tears into. I hope you get what you need and want as far as price and may your many memories live on!

Good luck with the sale Tim. Hope someone who can treat the car right buys it.

Not sure what big things are in your future, but good luck with that also

Sucks to see the premier Scion in the NW go but even I entertain Lexus and Camry hybrid ideas some days so I can understand. PLus what you said about going back to the line of work you loved made sense.

i can ship cars virtually anywhere in the world as I do work for a shipping company. we can do heated covered, trailer, flatbed, virtually anything.

^ AWESOME Dustin!

I've updated the postings to reflect the ability to ship her out to whomever wants her and finnally officially listed her on SL as well, which you can see in my sig... PLUS a nice price drop as I really want to part ways with her and get moving on other needed "Parting of ways" I need to do as well

Once again, if you know anyone, or a dealer, who wants an amazing deal on what we all know to be a nicely built and well taken care of car... send them my way!
