Default Im so tired of my scion.

rant

I was clobbered.
A kid rear ended my xB in his ranger. Tailgate/lights/bumper/and body in that area are FUBAR'ed. Glass didnt break. It was about 15-20mph. I bumped the car ahead of me then so the front bumper needs to be replaced, but it didnt tweak my lights/grill/fenders. Airbags didn't go off. I still hope its totalled. Transmission/Suspension and the front and back...ugh.

I seriously have had this thing on the road for like...6 weeks..and its off the road again. *sigh*

/rant

On the bright side, if it doesnt get totalled I am going to pick up an aftermarket front bumper (Fab rep w/ lights) and prolly go with a CF Hatch and stock rear bumper. It probably will be cheaper for the 16 yr olds insurance to buy that for me. Ill just have to do some smooth talking.

In the mean time..I give up.

I was sideswiped on the freeway by a Chevy Avalanche who decided to change lanes and didn't notice I was right beside them!! Bastards. Gang up on the box.... $1850 in repairs, all paid for by her insurance.

Yep know what you mean mine has been hit twice while parked but it got fixed. It does seem like they zero in on our little boxes for some reason. However I'm driving this til either it dies our I die which at my age it will prolly be me first...LOL Hey maybe at least you will get some more mods out of the deal.

I had my box 6 weeks before someone plowed into me at a red light...okay, the dude was 86 and driving a beat up old Grand Marquis. Bastard.

And the worst part....driving a rented Toyota Yaris for 5 weeks while it was in the shop!!!!

You got rearended how do they call that your fault? If you didn't make an unsafe lane change causing it you are only at fault for hitting person in front of you I would think. Well hope everything works out for you.

Let me restate. They are considering me at fault for the front damage.

I just ordered a Fab Front bumper. Next paycheck Ill order the fogs...
Work should start on the rear by this weekend.

*sigh*

Anyone got any 18x7.5 Sportmax 006's...any color would do at this point...my car is at 21.5" high to the fender and I have a feeling with the Fab kit...ill be on the ground scraping it around. Othwerwise Ill re-adjust.
