Hi Guys!

Z100 and Car Toys are having a HUGE tent event weekend at Portland Meadows July 20-22. They would really like the Scion clubs to participate on Friday the 20th. Anybody interested in this?

It would be from 6-9 pm, and there would be swag for the participants. Some of the mentioned give aways were trips to the coast, tickets to upcoming concerts like Daughtry and All American Rejects, and tickets to Bodyworld 3 (no idea what that is).

Anyway, they would like to get up to 40 cars out there, and I am going to see if I can get some additional prizes for participants from the dealership and the region...

Let me know what you think. I will go with my car if you guys are interested...

I'll go with the "tentative"... 20 year reunion is that weekend, so I'm still weighing that one out...

They've done an event for scions at every tent sale and with dealer involvement and such, it'll be that much better! The tent sale is always a good place for deals too!

It'd be sweet to make this a yearly event for Scions to come out to and show and the dealer support will definitely bring a new and cool edge to the show!

Remember Kekai? This was my FIRST Scion event three years back now! Wow.... the time and the memories since...

Found out the chic who won that first show has gone through 7 cars since.... (crashed two evos, had a g35 last I knew) LoL... the memories!

This is one to bring your pride in your ride to!

I have enjoyed this show all 3 years. Dealer support in the past has been them showing up and taking the trophies with their demo cars. Anyways, car toys has always been good to us at this event and the tent has awsome deals. Lets get a big group there and have some fun.

 

Thats so sad! I would NEVER enter our demo in a contest...it's not fair to people that have worked hard for every mod on their car!!

I will do everything I can to add to this event. Sounds like you guys have done it before...was there anything missing? Anything that could be better?

Oh, and the "Body Worlds 3" thing is the exhibit at OMSI that is the real human cadavers that have been traveling around...interested and creeped out at the same time

 

Kelly, the creepy thing is that the bodies are posed ( running, playing basketball). Just weird.

Wow... the memories of much simpler times.... Now... No More Nick showing with us "Scion People", No more Tim with the tC, and Widebodies, Wheels, Nitrous, Leather, Audio and more all the way around... Golly...

I'd love to go this year to hang and see the pretty rides and ol' Seattle friends... COME DOWN!
